After the tremendous success of Tauba Tauba, Bosco Martis talked about it in a conversation with India Today and shared his views on the appreciation Vicky Kaushal is receiving for his dancing steps. Opening up about the same, Bosco Martis said that most of the attention is diverted towards Vicky, and he also wants to be celebrated like the actor. He said:
"Across the internet, most of the attention is diverted towards Vicky dancing in the song. Vicky's dancing is possible because of a man who made it happen. Don't get any wrong ideas here. I am happy about the song's success, but somewhere down the line, I shamelessly want to make sure that choreographers, not just me, need to be celebrated because they bring in that vibe."
Further, in the same interview, Bosco Martis also stated that the song would not have received this much appreciation if he had not given that vibe and style to Tauba Tauba. Bosco also added that he wished to see choreographers and actors being celebrated equally, just like Saroj Khan and Madhuri Dixit back in the old days. The choreographer explained:
"Had I not given that vibe and style, I don't think we would have gotten this hype. It's time to celebrate the choreographers, just like Madhuri [Dixit] and Saroj ma'am were celebrated."

Right from an early age, Bosco Martis was interested in dancing, and just like every aspiring dancer, he showcased his moves at local festivals and public events. What's interesting is that Bosco never took formal training in dance and learnt everything from dance shows on television. Another interesting fact about Bosco's life is that he wanted to be a professional footballer, but because he wasn't getting a lot of good opportunities, he shifted his focus to dance, as he had to earn money to support his family.

According to several reports, Bosco Martis started his career as a choreographer, when he served as a backup dancer for Farah Khan. He got his first major break when he choreographed a stage show in 1994, after which he went on to work in a series of music videos and film songs. Bosco made his feature film debut back in 2000 when he choreographed a song in the film, Mission Kashmir. In recent years, Bosco has made his mark in Bollywood with his choreography in hit songs like Senorita, Jhoome Jo Pathaan, and Gallan Goodiyaan.
Bosco Martis is a renowned choreographer, but it was his partnership with fellow choreographer, Caesar Gonsalves that brought both of them immense success. Bosco and Caesar became friends when they were in school and formed their choreographer duo to work in Bollywood. After struggling a lot to get some work, they finally caught the attention of Prahlad Kakkar and worked for him on a series of TV commercials. Bosco-Caesar has worked on more than 200 songs in about 75 films, and their duo is considered as one of India's most successful choreographer-duos.
Some of their best-choreographed songs include Rind Posh Maal, Seekh Le, Yeh Tara Who Tara, Dus Bahane, Mauja Hi Mauja, Zoobi Doobi, Bang Bang, Pashmina, Jai Jai Shiv Shankar, Tu Meri, Kala Chashmah, and the list goes on. For the uninitiated, Bosco and Caesar parted ways for some time due to unknown reasons, but they came back, and Bosco confirmed it in a 2022 interview. As of now, Bosco and Caesar are working both independently and as a duo based on the offers they're getting from the industry. It's incredible how two boys, who never took any formal training in dance, formed a duo, which is among the best choreographer duos we have ever seen in India.
What are your thoughts on Bosco Martis' illustrious career? Do you think he's right about choreographers not getting enough credit for their work? Let us know.
