Getting intimate on the national television has become the USP of the Bigg Boss house, which helps increase the TRP of the show. Here we have compiled Bigg Boss lovebirds’ extra cosy and intimate moments from the show, right from season one to season eleven.
It won’t be wrong to call them trendsetters, who officially kicked-off the fad of love stories in the Bigg Boss house. Flashback to 2006, the show’s TRPs skyrocketed with the sizzling chemistry between the two lovebirds. The former models loved spending time with each other in front of the camera. Aryan and Anupama also shared some cosy moments on the show.
In a throwback interview to the Times Of India, Aryan had said:
"Such relationships are just as real as any relationship formed outside between two people. They stand just as much a chance of working out/or not and is completely dependent on the couple."
Aryan and Anupama never shied away from expressing their love for each other. In fact, after getting eliminated from the show, Aryan had stated:
"It felt like another world. But I was very upset when I saw Anupama crying for me. I miss her and want to marry her. I did find true love in that place.”
However, their relationship couldn’t stand the test of time and they parted ways later. This lead everyone to think that their bond and love on the show was only a strategy to win more votes.

Famous for being infamous, Rahul Mahajan’s romance with Payal Rohatgi and proposal to Monica Bedi became the talk of the town. In season 2, Rahul managed to make headlines, yet again, for getting intimate and touchy-touchy with Payal, inside the pool. Payal and Rahul also grabbed eyeballs for their sensuous massages to each other on the show.
And then suddenly, Rahul shifted his loyalties and started pursuing underworld don, Abu Salem’s ex-girlfriend, Monica Bedi. To everyone’s surprise, Rahul started to ignore Payal and flirted with Monica.
In season 4 of Bigg Boss, Murder fame, Ashmit Patel and Pakistani model-actress, Veena Malik touched new levels of intimacy with their “I don’t give a f**k about cameras” attitude. Their scandalous love affair went on from giving massages, snuggling each other and getting intimate everywhere in the house. Their constant PDA on the show fizzled out soon after it ended.

In Bigg Boss season 6, the growing fondness between Rajeev Paul and Sana Khan indeed raised many eyebrows, especially because the former came into the house with his then-wife, Delnaz Irani. Though the Rajeev and Sana still deny being involved and maintain their ‘just friends’ stance, their couch-kissing moment was the highlight of their romance and the Bigg Boss’ 6th season.
After getting eliminated from the house, Rajeev talked about Sana playing the ‘pati, patni and woh’ game on the show, and shared:
“Sana is a wonderful girl. I had a good rapport with Sana even before Delnaaz became friends with her. I would want to be her friend forever. If I had feelings for her, why would I deny? I am not married, nor was I seeing anyone. Can’t a man and a woman, who are friends, hug and give a small peck on the cheek? Inside the Bigg Boss house, everybody hugged everyone, then why is that Sana and my relationship is being blown out of proportion? It started when Delnaaz’s mom came and made such nasty comments. Why should she have a problem with whatever I am doing, now that her daughter and I are not married anymore?”
Winner of Bigg Boss season 7, Gauahar Khan was never seen without her companion on the show, Kushal Tandon. They were genuinely one of the most adorable couples of Bigg Boss, and though they later went on different paths, we still wish they reunite burying their grudges. With their hugging, kissing, intimate and cosying up moments on the show, Kushal and Gauahar were a quintessential example of ‘just being in love’. Their love affair was one of the hot topics of Bigg Boss season 7.
Bigg Boss season 7 saw another couple, Tanisha Mukerji and Armaan Kohli, who stood with each other through thick and thin. Their love story was one of the most controversial and boldest in the history of Bigg Boss. Their affair turned out to be scandalous, so much so, that even the host of the show, Salman Khan had to intervene and warn them on the national television. The reports also suggested that Arman and Tanisha were caught naked on camera, obviously the footage of which was edited out. But the video of Arman asking Tanisha for sexual favours floated on the internet.

UpMa, as fondly nicknamed by their fans, grabbed a lot of eyeballs with their PDA and romance on the show. And the TRP of the show skyrocketed when they gave in to their desires and lip-locked in the house. After some ‘oh-so-adorable’ flirting, Upen and Karishma were quite open about their relationship in the house. Though they made a hot couple and were loved by the audience, Karishma and Upen parted ways after the show.
Diandra Soares and Gautam Gulati’s steamy romance was the reason of Bigg Boss season 8’s high TRPs. In the house, Diandra and Gautam were unbelievably bold when they went inside the bathroom to have some ‘private time’ and even kissed in full view of the cameras. Also, there were rumours that Diandra got eliminated from the show because of her sudden pregnancy. In a throwback interview, Gautam shared that going inside the bathroom was one of the biggest mistakes that he has made:
“I know there was an ‘Emraan Hashmi moment’ between us. It was a momentary impulse. It would be rude to reject a girl who kisses me. So I kissed her back. There was nothing more than that. I am going to marry the girl that my mother chooses for me. We are just friends; there can be nothing beyond that. I regret going into the bathroom with her. There was nothing between us and will never be. I have always drawn a line in every relationship and I would never overstep that.”
The ninth season of Bigg Boss became much bolder with Kishwer and Suyyash’s romance. Just a few weeks in the house, the lovebirds were caught on cameras getting cosy inside a blanket. Though the couple saw numerous ups and downs, their relationship emerged stronger with each passing day. And today, Kishwer Merchant and Suyyash Rai are living their ‘happily ever after’ as a married couple.

After the lights went off in the house, Rochelle and Keith were caught kissing and sharing an intimate moment. From romantic and sizzling dance in the swimming pool to snuggling and kissing each other, this much-in-love couple left no chance to express their admiration towards each other. And now, Rochelle and Keith are also happily married to each other.
Puneesh Sharma and Bandgi Kalra gave us no dearth of entertainment with their hotness quotient. But their romance was often termed as fake owing to the marital status of Puneesh. Bandgi and Puneesh were caught a lot of times getting intimate, on the camera. As of now, their relationship is still going strong and speaking about the same, Puneesh stated to the Times Of India:
"Bigg Boss' ki toh dostiyan bhi nahi chalti. Hamara toh pyaar bhi chal raha hai."
Talking about the claims on their relationship being fake on the show, Bandgi said:
“Our relationship was never fake. It was real from the beginning. In fact, we didn’t realise when we fell in love. There came a point where we so got involved that we forgot that others are also staying with us in the house. And, as far his divorce is concerned, he has discussed it with me and I have no issues.”
About their marriage plans, Bandgi went on to say:
“What's the need of getting married? Shaadi karke saath hi rehna hai. Woh ab bhi reh rahe hain. I don't see the point in getting married just for that stamp of approval.”
Puneesh further added:
“Right now, we are happy staying together. And we have known each other for just six months. It's too soon to think about marriage right now. Jab honi hogi, ho jaayegi.”
