Bollywood actor couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are undoubtedly among the 'It' couples in Tinseltown. After dating for some years, the two lovebirds got married in 2018. Moreover, they are on cloud nine as they are soon going to embrace parenthood. Ahead of that, both Deepika and Ranveer have been enjoying this beautiful phase.
Recently, the parents-to-be ventured out to watch Deepika Padukone's latest release, Kalki 2898 AD, in a theatre. For their outing, Ranveer was seen clad in an all-black outfit, while his wife opted for oversized attire featuring a white T-shirt and striped blazer. The actress took to her Instagram to share a video of her husband's reaction after watching the film. Ranveer was heard saying:
"It's really, like, trippy to see a movie like this where like, her character is pregnant and like, she's pregnant, and it's like, what's happening?"

Further in the video, Deepika mentioned that she did not know how to feel as she was overwhelmed by the audience's reactions. For those uninitiated, Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD was released in theatres on June 27, 2024. Since then, the multi-starrer film has grossed over Rs. 900 crore to date.

So, back when the production house of Kalki 2898 AD unveiled the poster of Deepika’s character in the film, the actor gave a shoutout to his wife. He took to the comment section of the post, which Deepika had reshared and penned, "BOOM, Stunner!"

Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy in February 2024. While the actress kept away from the limelight during the initial phase of her pregnancy, she started venturing out later, proudly flaunting her growing baby bump. But not everyone was impressed by her appearance. A segment of the netizens incessantly criticised her for faking her pregnancy. While Deepika kept her silence on the trolling, her husband wasn't the one to sit back and let it all pass.
Earlier, mom-to-be, Deepika delighted her fans with a few glimpses of herself in which she was radiating a pregnancy glow in a bright yellow pleated long dress. Her look was accentuated by a pair of dainty diamond and pearl-studded earrings and glam makeup comprising pink lips and blushed cheeks. Deepika looked as stunning as ever with her hair tied into a messy low bun. Sharing those pictures of his wife on his Instagram stories, Ranveer penned:
“Buri nazar wale tera moonh kala (along with an evil-eye emoji).”
