Dalljiet Kaur tied the knot with Kenya-based businessman, Nikhil Patel, on March 18, 2023. The actress was previously married to television actor, Shalin Bhanot, with whom she has a son, Jaydon. However, Dalljiet and Shalin got divorced in 2015, and since then, Jaydon lives with his mommy. Meanwhile, Dalljiet and Nikhil's marital woes have been in the limelight for two months now, after the former accused her husband of having an extramarital affair and announced their separation on social media.
Nikhil Patel had taken legal action against Dalljiet Kaur with an ultimatum that she should move her and Jaydon's belongings out of his house. According to the recent updates, the court has restrained Nikhil from evicting Dalljiet and her son and warned him against throwing out her personal belongings from their house in Kenya. The court issued a new stay order that would prevent Nikhil from taking any action to evict Dalljiet from their house.

Amid all this, Dalljiet Kaur shared a cryptic post on her IG handle and talked about how she was wronged all this while. She added that she wanted to see who felt bad for her and also had the guts to stand by her. She began her note saying:
"At the end of this road, the real question would be, who saw the wrong, realised it was wrong, told me it was wrong while it was happening, and felt bad that this happened in the first place, and also had the guts to stand by me."
Further in her note, Dalljiet mentioned that she wants to see how the journey will unfold ahead and has given God the right to enlighten her path. She also took a dig at people who pretended to be by her side but instead chose the convenience of being on both sides. Her note can be read as:
"Even I want to see what this journey holds ahead and who were the ones who stood by me, and who were those who chose the convenience to be on both the sides. I am letting god decide the path ahead. And also letting the universe show me the truth of everyone around me .. whether it was a relationship of years or a year... I want to see if humanity stood a chance..."
