Dalljiet Kaur Shares The Significance Of Her And Nikhil Patel's 'Take 2' Tattoos, 'Redesigning It..'

Popular television actress, Dalljiet Kaur is going through a rough patch in her life as her second marriage to Kenya-based businessman, Nikhil Patel, has hit rock bottom. For the unversed, Dalljiet Kaur tied the knot with Nikhil Patel, on March 18, 2023, in an intimate wedding ceremony. Later, she shifted her base to Kenya and took her son, Jaydon, with her. However, in less than a year, she accused Nikhil of infidelity and returned to India.

On August 7, 2024, Dalljiet Kaur took to her IG handle and dropped a video featuring her and Nikhil Patel's matching tattoos. In the clip, the actress gave a closer glimpse of her tattoo, which was too beautiful. Dalljiet was seen flaunting her tattoo while getting her mehendi done at her wedding with Nikhil. In the video, she also showed a throwback glimpse of her and Nikhil's passport when she was leaving the country after her wedding.

Dalljiet Kaur reveals the significance of her 'Take 2' tattoo

Alongside the video, Dalljiet penned a long note expressing her emotions about the tattoo and shared that it represented the strength to fall in love and trust again. The actress wanted to have a family for her and her son, Jaydon, so she decided to get married after nine years. She left the country and wrapped up everything she loved as she got lost in the fantasy of having a family. Dalljiet wrote:

"Take 2. A tattoo that represented strength to fall in love again. Strength to trust again. Strength to leave the country and wrapping up everything for love and a hope to have family that me and Jaydon craved so much for. After nine years I took the plunge as I got lost in the fantasy of having a family and all that I was being told to believe. Take 2 was a chance I gave myself, to call someone my husband. For my son to feel what having a father would feel like."

Further in her note, Dalljiet mentioned that there was no faith, loyalty, love, respect, togetherness or commitment in their marriage. Taking a dig at Nikhil's extramarital affair, the actress shared that there were many ladies in her husband's life from the beginning, so the switch happened quickly. She also stated that she is willing to redesign her tattoo so that healing can finally begin. Dalljiet penned:

"Now I know there was no such thing as faith and loyalty, love and respect, togetherness and commitment. It was all about numbers from the very beginning and loyalty was never on the table. Numbers must be high so the switch happened quickly! Now I know, when I was being told 'we will fix this' there was a replacement already being fixed too.. For all those who are insisting on redesigning my tattoo. Yes, I am going to do it. We can do something fun and creative so the healing finally begins."

For the unversed, Dalljiet Kaur and Nikhil Patel got matching tattoos, which were dedicated to their second marriage. The meaningful tattoo featured two hands holding a clapper board, on which it was written 'Take 2' along with a date. Dalljiet and Nikhil once shared pictures of themselves flaunting their matching tattoos etched on their legs, while lying on the floor.

Amid the ongoing speculations about their divorce, Nikhil Patel recently arrived in Mumbai with his girlfriend, Safeena Nazar, leaving his wife, Dalljiet Kaur, heartbroken. On August 1, 2024, Nikhil and Safeena were spotted at Taj Land's End in Mumbai. Meanwhile, a report in Times Now stated that the Kenya-based businessman was doing so to tell Dalljiet that she could not do anything about him dumping her. However, Dalljiet was quite affected by all this, so she shared Nikhil's picture with his alleged girlfriend on her IG stories and penned a heartbreaking note. She wrote: 

"No words. Just tears that won't stop."
