Dalljiet Kaur's personal life has grabbed the attention of lately. The actress got married to Kenya-based businessman, Nikhil Patel last year, and within eight months, the actress' life turned upside down, as not only her husband denied their wedding but also cheated on her. A day ago, Nikhil was spotted with his girlfriend, Safeena Nazar in Mumbai. Such an incident broke Dalljiet's heart into a million pieces, and now she reportedly sought legal action.
As per a recent report by Times Now, Dalljiet Kaur has lodged an FIR against her estranged husband, Nikhil Patel, under section 85 and section 316 (2) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita. As per the law under section 85, if a husband or any of his family members treats a woman badly or cruelly, they can be punished with a 3-year-long prison or fine. As per the law under 316 (2), if someone cheats on another, then that individual will also be punished with a fine or a 3-year-long prison.

It was on August 2, 2024, when Dalljiet took to her IG handle and posted a couple of photos on her husband, Nikhil Patel's birthday. In the long caption, the actress talked about how she had spent his birthday the previous year and how things turned upside down. Well, she later deleted the post after coming across the mushy photos of Nikhil with Safeena. Resharing the photos, Dalljiet stated that she had no words to spill, but the tears wouldn't stop rolling down her cheeks.
It was on August 1, 2024, when Nikhil Patel was spotted in Mumbai with his alleged girlfriend, Safeena Nazar. In the photos that surfaced online, the couple looked a bit affectionate with one another. Some close sources revealed to Times Now that Nikhil had an agenda to hurt Dalljiet and show her that she could do nothing about him cheating on her, and that's why he came to Mumbai with Safeena.

For the unversed, after Dalljiet Kaur hinted at Nikhil cheating on her with some 'SN', in an interview with ET, the businessman revealed that they got married only as per the Hindu traditions and it held no validation legally. Such a confession left everyone surprised and worried about the actress. Recently, Dalljiet's PR manager also revealed that Nikhil was also cold toward the actress' son, Jaydon, and it's simply heartbreaking.
