Your work becomes your priority, and everything takes a back seat. Life of Qayamat Ki Raat actress, Dalljiet Kaur who is currently seen in the reality show, Bigg Boss 13 has been full of ups and down post her divorce with Shaleen Bhanot. Dalljiet Kaur had tied the knot with actor, Shaleen Bhanot on December 9, 2009, and has a lovely son, Jaydon. But soon things had started to turn sour and the couple had parted ways in 2015 when Dalljiet had accused him of physical abuse. As per the format of the reality show, Bigg Boss, the contestants have to be locked inside the house for a long period of three months. And can only come out after their eviction. They miss their family members and hope to hear something from them inside the house. Dalljiet Kaur has left her son, Jaydon with her parents. This is the first time that Dalljiet will be away from her son for so long. Dalljiet could be seen missing her son inside the house and on the other hand, outside the house, Jaydon too misses his mommy. Recently, we got our hands on a video of Jaydon, where he is seen talking about his mommy and confessing that he miss playing stone, paper, scissors with her. Take a look at the adorable video:
Post Dalljiet's nasty divorce with Shaleen, the custody of their son, Jaydon went to her. Coming out of a bad relationship seems to be very difficult, but when you have a positive source in front of you, you put your 100% efforts and try to come out of it as soon as possible. In a throwback interview, Dalljiet had revealed that she had decided to work on herself because she didn’t want her son to think that his mommy was a feeble woman. She had said, “I decided to pick myself up when I realised I had nothing to lose. I was at my lowest a year ago. When you don’t have anything to lose you become fearless. Neither did I look beautiful because I had put on weight, nor was I financially stable. I didn’t want my son to grow up seeing his mother like that.”
Divorcee women are considered a burden on their parents and especially when you have a young kid to look after. Dalljiet too had faced such problems in her life, when society had advised her not to divorce her husband because life of a single mother would be difficult. She had once revealed, “When I thought of divorce, there were a lot of women who told me, ‘Life of single women is messy, you will be alone, you will be left alone. How could a girl walk out of marriage’? I used to feel scared. But then I thought that if I don’t believe in myself, the world won’t. I worked on my marriage. It lasted for seven years. So, obviously I worked on it. But when I thought it’s not what I want, I had to leave. People tell me that you have changed, and you are much stronger than before. I just know that I am much happier than before. I take time out for myself. I do what I love. I do things for myself and that happiness reflects in my relationship with my son. If you are happy from within, your child is automatically taken care of.” (Suggested Read: Akanksha Puri Reacted On Beau, Paras Chhabra's Claim Of Trying To End Their Relationship Many Times)

Before entering the Bigg Boss house, Dalljiet had stated that her single status will not affect her equation with other housemates. She had revealed, “I have done so much work that my claim to fame cannot be my personal life. I feel that people want to see the real me and I am excited about this opportunity. It would have been impossible for me to take up this show two years ago because I was searching for stability back then. I was without work for a year-and-a-half, and it was a luxury I couldn’t afford. It’s scary being the only earning member in the house. However, now that I have got a hold over my life once again, I hope that people see my inner strength. I will miss my son, but that has got nothing to do with the fact that I am a single mother. Every mother would miss her child."
In an interview with The Times Of India before entering the house, Dalljiet had revealed that her son, Jaydon is her priority. She had said, “In a house like Bigg Boss you can’t predict if you will find love. But as I have told you in my earlier interviews, I am open to finding love. At the same time, I don’t want to do a crash course in love as I am in the Bigg Boss house. I am not in a hurry. My son is my responsibility now and he comes first when I take any decision. So, a lot depends on finding the right partner, I am not entering Bigg Boss to find a future husband for me.” (Also Read: Priyanka Chopra Jonas Reveals Her Plans To Start A Family, Says She Can't Wait To Have A Child)
