Recently, Debina Bonnerjee shared a video on her YouTube channel, in which she discussed how it is shameful to ask a woman hurtful questions without analysing its impact on their mental health. Debina described how terrible it is for a woman to be asked questions like "when are they going to become a mother?" and "why don't they want kids?" by others, who aren't even aware of her situation.
Debina also listed the three most fundamental reasons for a woman not being able to become a mother. She explained that a woman might have her own reasons and she must be fighting her own battles, whether physically or mentally. Adding that it may not be a woman's fault, but it simply isn't occurring, the actress explained:
"These questions can be so hurtful even though it is one of the most beautiful questions. In the society we belong to, we know what is good and what is bad for us. So, a woman who's not becoming a mother also has her own reasons. Maybe these reasons are not physical, maybe there's no problem, just her own reason - 'I don't want to be a mother'. The second reason can be that maybe she's going through her own fights and physical problems. Third thing, maybe there's no problem with her but it's just not happening."
Through the video, Debina shared a heartfelt message to everyone out there and requested them not to ask such questions from a woman. She also stated that being pregnant, holding motherhood and accepting it, is undoubtedly one of the most wonderful gifts in the world. Adding that these questions can both bring joy and cause harm, the actress said:

On March 4, 2022, Debina Bonnerjee had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a priceless video with her husband, Gurmeet Choudhary. In the video, the pregnant actress could be seen struggling to wear heels on her own, quite understandably because of her baby bump. However, soon Gurmeet had entered into the frame, had sat down on one knee and had helped her wear high heels. Along with the beautiful video, Debina had penned a lovely note in the caption and had praised her hubby, Gurmeet, for all his efforts and the way he is taking care of her. Her note could be read as:
"When I count my blessings. I count you times. This journey has got the two of us even more closer. We are not just a to be parents or a beautiful couple we know at times like this we always choose to be each-others Bestfriend's first and that makes our journey even more brighter, better and successful. To sustain any relationship be each others friend first and the rest will take its place in the most beautiful manner - Just a happy note from a woman who feels a lot these days @guruchoudhary."
Although the pregnant actress had looked quite comfortable in her high heels, most of her fans and well-wishers were concerned about Debina Bonnerjee's choice to wear high heels during pregnancy. While some had called her decision a dangerous one, some had advised her to go for flats. One user had written, "It's good if u r comfortable with heels but doctor generally advice for flats for back pains." While another had commented, "Please don't wear heals..its dangerous during pregnancy."
We must respect and give pregnant women some space to express what they are experiencing. What do you think?
