For the unversed, she married Bollywood actor, Ranveer Singh in 2018, and after being in marital bliss for quite some years, the duo announced their pregnancy in 2024. This journey from marriage to pregnancy has been beautiful, and the couple, brimming with happiness, revealed that the actress is due in September 2024. So, it's just a few more days till we get the news of Deepika's baby's arrival. Ahead of that, the couple made it a point to seek blessings from the almighty for their baby.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer have been very cautious throughout the former's pregnancy journey. During the last phase, the duo sought blessings for their baby's health and overall well-being. According to a report from Viral Bhayani, the couple visited Mumbai's Mount Mary Basilic Bandra Church in the early morning hours on September 5, 2024, to pray for their baby.

On September 6, 2024, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh visited Siddhivinayak. For the uninitiated, today marks the first day of the Ganpati festival. Deepika Padukone donned a regal green-hued Banarasi saree with golden zari work. Ranveer, on the other hand, looked dapper in a creme-hued kurta-pyjama for the day.
Veena Nagda, in a heart-to-heart with Hindi Rush, shared her personal encounters with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. She first met Ranveer at Ram Charan’s wedding, and they crossed paths again at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding. Veena, in a moment of shared joy, congratulated Ranveer and playfully predicted that he would soon be blessed with a baby boy. She said in Hindi:
“I met Ranveer Singh at Ram Charan’s wedding, and we shared a hug. We met again during Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding and shared similar emotions. Singh jokingly said I also want a little Mehendi and hugged. I also congratulated him, saying, 'Beta Aane wala hai'.”
Meanwhile, a report in News18 Showsha stated that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are setting up the space for their little one. A source close to the couple also revealed that Deepika might give birth to her baby on September 28, 2024, at a hospital situated in South Bombay. The soon-to-be mother is currently enjoying every bit of her pregnancy, and she will take care of her child for a few months before returning to work in March 2025.
