Deepika Padukone Enjoys Babymoon With Ranveer Singh After Skipping Met Gala, Flaunts Her Baby Bump

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced their pregnancy in February 2024. The couple, who has been married for five years now, will embark on their parenthood journey in September 2024. Deepika was busy winding up her work commitments, and now, it looks like she has jetted off for her babymoon with her husband, Ranveer. The diva, who is a frequent attendee of the Met Gala, chose to skip the star-studded event this year and was seen enjoying gala time amid nature.

Recently, we stumbled upon a picture of Deepika Padukone from her babymoon with her husband, Ranveer Singh. The photo showed the mommy-to-be flaunting her baby bump in a brown-hued long t-shirt. Deepika was seen descending the stairs of an aeroplane and looked comfortable in her maternity wear and cool sunglasses. Ranveer, on the other hand, was clad in an all-white attire and followed closely behind his pregnant wife.

When rumours were rife that Deepika Padukone was pregnant with her first child

The rumours about Deepika Padukone's pregnancy ignited after she was seen clad in a Sabyasachi saree on the 77th British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) red carpet. The diva hid her little baby bump with the pallu of her saree, but eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice the same. Later, in a report in the magazine, The Week, a source close to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh revealed that the duo is expecting their first child. The source further mentioned that Deepika is in her second trimester of pregnancy.

Deepika Padukone completed the shooting of her much-anticipated film, Kalki, and also shot her sequences for her cameo role in Singham Again well in advance. Earlier, a Reddit user shared some pictures of Deepika Padukone from the sets of Singham Again. In the glimpses, the actress was spotted in a police uniform and doing action scenes during pregnancy. The diva was surrounded by the crew members, and director, Rohit Shetty accompanied them. Sharing the pictures, the user penned:

"Lady Singham aka Deepika Spotted on Sets of Singham Again."

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's pregnancy announcement

On February 29, 2024, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took to their respective IG handles and shared a collaborative post to announce their 'good news'. The couple left their entire fanbase into a meltdown as they revealed that they are going to be parents soon. The photo featured cute drawings of baby stuff, including a bib, shoes, hat, button, and clothes. Atop the picture, the couple penned a note and revealed that their baby will arrive in September 2024.
