Diwali is the festival of lights. It brings joy, and happiness to one's life, but Diwali also means great platters of delicacies, neat and clean house, gorgeous room decors, and mostly gala parties. The whole nation is getting ready with fairy lights, diyas, rangoli, and flowers.
In 2020, we didn't get much to see Diwali parties in Bollywood due to COVID-19, but this time we can expect a few lavish Diwali bashes. While people are decorating their houses, Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone is all set for a family getaway and enjoys her little low-key Diwali celebration.

As per the reports, Deepika Padukone has been jam-packed with shooting schedules as she has a lineup of movies back-to-back, and because of her commitments, she couldn't get the time to rest. Now, for Diwali, she has planned something special for her family.
A close source to Deepika Padukone has shared that she will be heading out for a little getaway with her family. She had opted for a quiet but beautiful Diwali celebration with her close members. In the source's words:
"This year Deepika is going to celebrate Diwali with her family but away from home. She has taken a small and much-deserved getaway with her family and will resume work post this. She always tries to keep the festival time for her family."
The Padukone family loves to take trips and enjoy themselves in their own way. Deepika, who hails from Bengaluru, used to have great Diwali functions back in her childhood days. This time she has something special stored in for her family.

In a recent Reel video, Deepika had shared a few fun facts about her and her family members' names and how it is connected to light and Diwali. Mother, Anisha, father, Prakash, and the two daughters, Anisha and Deepika- all of their names mean lights. She captioned her video as "My Diwali in a nutshell."
For the unversed, Ranveer and Deepika don't like to party on Diwali, instead, they try to keep it low-key and enjoy with their family members. Last year in 2020, it was their first Diwali post-marriage, but they had spent it with their family. As the actress had revealed:
“It’s been a difficult year for many in different ways [owing to the pandemic]. So, what we intend to do is, to stay at home, do a simple pooja and spend time with family. Normally, that’s what we, anyway, do.”
On the professional front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in the movies, Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, Fighter with Hrithik Roshan. She would also feature in a film along with Prabhas.
