For Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's sangeet night, Deepika Padukone slipped into a classy saree in a purple tone and looked gorgeous. The saree was from the brand, Torani and had golden embellishments all over. Deepika teamed her saree with a matching blouse. A pair of Kundan earrings and a pearl-encrusted choker accessorised her look.

With a subtle touch of makeup and a high bun, Deepika finalised her look. However, netizens turned nostalgic with Deepika's look for the day, as it reminded them of Madhuri Dixit's iconic character of 'Nisha' from Salman Khan-starrer, Hum Aapke Hai Koun. For the unversed, for the song, Didi Tera Devar Deewana, Madhuri was dolled up in a purple saree and embellished blouse and she was enacting a pregnant lady. The way Deepika was flaunting her baby bump in the purple-hued saree, instantly dragged people down memory lane and let them recall Madhuri's look.

However, the duo's pregnancy announcement came as an unexpected news to their fans, and everyone was left in joy.
