Deepika Padukone is currently in seventh heaven as within a few months, she will welcome her first child with Ranveer Singh into the world. For the unversed, Deepika and Ranveer announced the 'good news' in February 2024, and the actress' due date is in September 2024. For the last few months, Deepika Padukone has been stealing our hearts with her pregnancy glow, and yet the same happened again, as she was all decked up for the royal wedding of the year, Anant and Radhika's.
Taking to her IG handle, Deepika Padukone shared a series of photos that featured her look for Anant and Radhika's grand wedding. For the day, she slipped into a red-hued anarkali set featuring golden embellishments all over. The sleeves of this dress were flared and she teamed it with a matching dupatta and flared pants. The actress opted for a stack of golden bangles and a choker.

The mumma-to-be went for a sheen touch of makeup, which is her usual style statement. Kohl-rimmed eyes, a bindi, and soft-toned lipstick finalised her look. She kept her hair in a bun adorned with gajra, and oh boy, this desi touch to her look increased her pregnancy glow manifolds. In a word, Deepika left us gushing over her look. She also donned sindoor and looked gorgeous. In a video, she was seen holding her baby bump adorably while walking inside the wedding venue. Moreover, we couldn't manage to take our eyes off her.
Deepika's dress was custom-made from Torani, while her neckpiece had historical significance. Diet Sabya revealed that the necklace that Deepika had donned was actually a bazuband from the Sikh Empire. It was made of sapphires and a large central spinel, and it belonged to the family of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. This necklace is a testament to Sikh craftsmanship, and the centrepiece resembles Timur Ruby, which also is a collection of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and was once safeguarded in the Lahore treasury.

For Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's sangeet ceremony, Deepika Padukone slipped into a purple-hued embellished saree from Torani. The saree had golden embellishments all over. A galm makeup including dark eyes and soft lipstick, she amplified her look. A high bun, choker, earrings, and rings were enough to add the final touch to her look.
However, as soon as she dropped the photos, netizens started claiming that the actress had ended up reminding everyone about Madhuri Dixit's look from Hum Apke Hai Koun. In the song Didi Tera Devar Deewana, Madhuri enacted a pregnant lady and donned a similar purple-toned saree, which left everyone to link her look to Deepika.
As Deepika shared the mesmerising photos from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's sangeet, she penned a cutesy caption that melted our hearts. The note featured a cute unheard anecdote about her to-be-born, baby. Deepika said as it was the weekend, her baby wanted to party, which might hint at the actress getting kicks from her to-be-born baby.
