Deepika Padukone is currently in the last phase of her pregnancy. For the unversed, she married the Bollywood actor, Ranveer Singh in 2018, and after being in marital bliss for quite some years, they announced their pregnancy in 2024. This journey from marriage to pregnancy has been beautiful, and the couple, brimming with happiness, revealed that the actressn is due in September 2024. So, it's just a few more days till we get the news of Deepika's baby's arrival.
Deepika Padukone recently stepped out for a dinner date with her in-laws and badminton star, Lakshya Sen. For the day, Deepika opted for a sultry black dress, which she paired with a blazer in the same tone to hide her baby bump. She had her signature glam makeup on with her tresses open in loose curls. On the other hand, Lakshay opted for a red printed shirt and paired it with white pants.

We stumbled upon a few pap pictures from their dinner gala. For those who don't know, Lakshya Sen was mentored by Deepika Padukone's father, Prakash Padukone. Deepika gave a warm hug to Lakshya before getting in her car; even Ranveer Singh's sister was very cordial with the badminton star.

For those who may not be aware, Lakshya Sen has etched his name in history as the first Indian male shuttler to reach the Olympic semi-finals in men's badminton. Ranveer Singh spoke highly of the young shuttler, praising his agility, range of shots, and grit. The actor also lauded Lakshya's brilliant performance at the Olympics. Notably, Ranveer emphasized that the shuttler is just 22, a fact that he penned with pride:
"What a player! What endurance, what agility, what a range of shots, what focus, what grit, what smarts. Scintillating badminton on display! Its difficult to encapsulate just how brilliant he's been at the Olympics. Missed out narrowly in a game of extremely small margins. But he's only 22, and he is just getting started."
