Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh embraced parenthood with the arrival of their daughter on the second day of Ganpati celebration. For those who don't know, just a day ago, Deepika had visited Siddhivinayak temple with her family barefoot. Ganpati Bappa blessed her with 'Laxmi's kripa', in the form of a baby girl. Now, after nine days of their daughter's birth, the couple took her home.
On September 15, 2024, Deepika Padukone and her daughter were discharged from the hospital. The couple chose to exit from the back gate to avoid getting clicked by paps. However, paps were quick as they tried their best to capture a few glimpses of the new parents. In the photos, we can see Deepika sitting in the backseat, holding her baby girl.

The new mommy, Deepika, was dressed in a white T-shirt and kept her look minimal. Nude glasses and hair tied at the back completed her look. On the other hand, Ranveer was cutely watching his daughter and looked at her in awe.
According to the latest developments, Deepika and her newborn baby girl got discharged on September 15, 2024. Ranveer took his wife, Deepika and his baby girl home. The first thing Deepika did after getting discharged was to change her Instagram bio to her daughter's daily schedule, and it proves how Deepika is enjoying the nesting process. She wrote:
"Feed.Burp.Sleep.Repeat."
Deepika and Ranveer announced their first pregnancy in March 2024. According to a report by Times Now, Deepika Padukone has rejected the third season of The White Lotus because she wanted to be a 'hands-on' mom and focus her time on nurturing her baby. This is one of the major reasons she has not been signing any new projects and won't be returning to work anytime soon.

The report further stated that Deepika would not be hiring any nannies or nanas for her child. A source close to the couple shared that Deepika won't be letting Ranveer share the baby's chores as she wants to be a hands-on mommy. Not only this, the source revealed that Deepika will not be hiring any nanny or nana for her child.
