Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone became parents to a baby girl on the second day of Ganesh Chaturthi. The couple was thrilled to announce the same to the world, and the happiness on their faces during their first appearance while returning home from the hospital was simply heart-melting. Deepika and Ranveer are both on break and they would return to their work a few months later. Well, it was on September 29, 2024, when Ranveer Singh made his first appearance after bringing his little Lakshmi home, and now Deepika has reacted to the same.

Ranveer Singh couldn't hold his excitement as he graced the celebration of Olympians and Paralympians at Antilia, which the Ambani family hosted. He screamed in excitement and remarked that he had become a dad. Ranveer mentioned to paps 'Baap ban gaya re'. Well, as the newbie daddy was out for the first time after bringing his baby girl home, the newbie mommy reacted to it.

Deepika Padukone shared a cutesy video, wherein a girl could be seen running towards the door with binoculars. The video came with a caption that reads, "Me when my husband tells me he will be home at 5:00 and it's now 5:01." Sharing the video, Deepika tagged Ranveer and dropped a smiley emoticon. Well, this cutesy IG exchange featuring newbie parents, Deepika and Ranveer's mushy bond simply won the hearts.

It was on September 8, 2024, when Deepika and Ranveer, in a collaborative post, shared a picture-note to announce the birth of their little princess. The photo had an illustration of a baby girl's face, and beneath it, the details about the baby's birth were written. Moreover, on September 15, 2024, Deepika and Ranveer made their first public appearance with their baby girl as they returned home after the actress was discharged from the hospital. Deepika was seen holding her little one close to her heart and flaunting a smile while looking at her, and Ranveer also looked at his baby girl in awe.

A few days ahead of his baby girl's birth, Ranveer Singh took to his IG handle and updated his profile photo which featured him striking a mushy pose with his then-pregnant wife, Deepika. The photo was from their maternity shoot, and of course, Ranveer liked his profile photo the best, which led him to replace his solo photo with this one. On September 15, 2024, ahead of returning home with her baby girl, Deepika updated her IG bio and filled it with the deets of her mommy duties, which are:

"Feed.Burp.Sleep.Repeat."
