Further in the revelation, Mohan Churiwala shared how the foreigner didn't believe in Dev Anand's words, and it became quite a task for the talented actor to make him believe that he was just playing a cab driver's role. The foreigner was in a hurry, which was why he kept insisting Dev Anand to start his cab immediately until the film's director, Chetan Anand, interrupted the matter. Finally, the director and other crew members of the film made the foreigner understand that they were shooting a movie outside the Taj Mahal Hotel.

The associate admitted that it had become a memorable memory for the entire cast and crew of the film, Taxi Driver. Whether we talk about this incident or the fact that Dev Anand got married to his co-star, Kalpana Kartik, during the shooting of this film, Taxi Driver will forever remain a special film of Dev Anand's illustrious career.
After two years of Dev Anand and Kalpana Kartik's wedding, the couple welcomed a baby boy, Suneil. The actress left her acting after that film and spent all her time parenting her kids, Suneil and Devina Anand. It was on December 3, 2011, when Dev Anand had passed away due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 88. If the reports are to be believed, Kalpana Kartik is still living with her family and is of 91 years. The iconic actress has been living a low-key life since she bid farewell to Hindi cinema in 1957.
No doubt, we will keep witnessing incredibly talented actors and superstars, but will we ever see a star as humble, respectable, admirable, and talented as Dev Anand? Well, that's the question where even the most prominent critics choke.
