Popular television actress, Devoleena Bhattacharjee is enjoying the happiest phase of her life as she is expecting her first baby. For the past few months, there have been constant rumours about the actress’ pregnancy, however, she didn’t respond to it. But a few days back, Devoleena put an end to the rumours by announcing the news of her pregnancy on her social media handle.
And now, Devoleena delighted her fans by dropping a series of pictures as she decked herself in a traditional white silk saree with a contrasting red-coloured blouse. The actress flaunted her cute baby bump by resting her hand on it. She complemented her look with gold jewellery, bangles, bindi and sindoor. She left her hair open and her pregnancy glow was unmissable. She captioned the pictures with a red heart, star, and an evil-eye emoticon.

It was on August 15, 2024, when Devoleena announced the news of her pregnancy to the world. Taking to her Instagram account, she shared a series of pictures with her husband, Shanawaz, her family and friends. In one of the pictures, Devoleena and Shanawaz sat beside one another and the actress was seen holding a onesie with "You can stop asking now" printed on it. Sharing the pictures, she penned:
"Celebrating the divine journey to motherhood with the sacred Panchamrit ritual, where tradition and love blend to bless the mother and her unborn child with health, prosperity, and joy during this beautiful chapter of life."

For quite some time, there have been rumours that the Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress is expecting her first child. The reports of her pregnancy surfaced in the media when eagle-eyed netizens noticed her baby bump in one of her vacation pictures. In an interview with News18 Showsha, Devoleena reacted to her pregnancy reports and said:
“If you talk about fans or any random people, they write anything. They do it. They’ll write things to judge or troll you. I get irritated when I get messages or calls asking about rumours. If it is my personal life, I’ll tell you whenever I feel like it. Don’t bother me or don’t worry about it. Everything has the right time. There are so many rumours about me which I laugh at. I was shocked. There’s nothing one can do about it.”
For the unversed, Devoleena Bhattacharjee tied the knot with her beau, Shanawaz Shaikh, in December 2022 in an intimate court wedding.
