Devoleena Bhattacharjee surprised her fans with the announcement of her getting married to the love of her life, Shanwaz Shaikh. However, many netizens did not take her happy news as it was and tried to taint it with many allegations and rumours. And now, the newlywed bride, Devoleena, strongly reacts to it all during an interview with Times Of India.
Devoleena Bhattacharjee has been at the helm of extensive trolling since she announced her wedding. And now, the actress replies to a new troll story, which suggests that her unexpected pregnancy was the reason behind her sudden marriage. Devoleena mentioned:
“I don't need to justify anything to anyone, but there are people around who think that I'm pregnant and hence I got married all of a sudden. I'm shocked and feel sad for people who make such poor comments.”

This was not the first time that Devoleena had been trolled. From her sudden wedding to her choice of groom, a section of netizens have always tried to poke fun and burden the actress with ridiculous comments and criticism. Speaking about how she handled these things all this while, Devoleena said:
“This is another level of hypocrisy that you can't let go of any single opportunity to torture someone. They can't see anyone happy. It's frustrating at times. Why does one need to poke so much into someone's life? But later I laughed at these comments and let go. I seriously don't know what is coming next."
Devoleena bared her heart out on doing bold roles after getting married. She mentioned that marriage has nothing to do with doing bold roles and actions on screen. However, she did mention that since she has never done any bold roles in her career so far, she would not opt for anything similar, as she is not comfortable with it. In her words:
“I don’t think marriage can be an excuse for not doing bold roles. I have never done any such roles before. And TV doesn’t promote much intimacy till date. If in future they do or incase TV airs such content or I take a digital series, it will completely depend on the situation and the story. I will never do anything that is of no use. I would only sign a role that I’m comfortable with and my audience, family would appreciate me for.”
