Dhanashree Drops A Song About 'Infidelity' On Her Divorce Day, Netizens Link It To Yuzvendra Chahal

Indian cricketer, Yuzvendra Chahal and actor-choreographer, Dhanashree Verma were earlier photographed outside the family court, confirming the news of their separation. It was earlier reported on March 19, 2025, that the final decision about their divorce would be made on March 20, 2025. The order had come directly from the Bombay High Court. However, ahead of the hearing, Dhanashree Verma released a song that further grabbed eyeballs.

Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal have been in the news for a while now. While the duo will be officially separated today, a song was released earlier on March 20, 2025, which also features Dhanashree. However, what was interesting to note was that the song was about infidelity. The song, Dekha Ji Dekha Maine, showcases the theme of infidelity and betrayal by the husband, who is essayed by Ishwak Singh. Dhanashree can be seen expressing her pain and heartbreak in the song, and the timing of the release on the same day as her divorce finalisation has raised several questions.

The song, Dekha Ji Dekha Maine features Dhanashree Verma and Ishaan Singh. Jyoti Nooran has given her voice to the song. The 3-minute 48-second video shows Dhanashree and Ishaan as a married couple. However, the dancer gets betrayed by her husband and later leaves him. The song focuses on the emotions of betrayal and love. This song is also special because today, the court will make a big decision on the divorce of Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma arrived separately at the Bandra Court. The cricketer was dressed in a grey lower, black T-shirt and matching jacket and was seen heading towards the court with his lawyers. He covered his face with a mask and avoided interacting with the paparazzi as he headed inside. Soon after, Dhanashree Verma was also captured as she arrived at the family court. The dancer rushed inside and avoided any interaction with the media as well. She was dressed in light-washed denim pants and a white T-shirt. She covered her face with a mask and sunglasses. 

Yuzvendra Chalal to pay Rs. 4.75 crores as alimony to Dhanashree's Divorce

It was on February 20, 2025, when the family court denied Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma's request for an early divorce, citing the cricketer's partial compliance with the terms of the settlement. Yuzvendra had agreed to pay Rs. 4.75 crores as alimony but had only paid Rs. 2.37 crores at the time of the hearing. However, when the case went to the high court, Justice Madhav Jamdar ruled that the second instalment could be paid as permanent alimony after the divorce.
