One of the most talented Punjabi singers, Diljit Dosanjh knows how to carve a space in the hearts of his fans. The actor continuously has been grabbing the headlines with his unparalleled acting skills in the movie, Amar Singh Chamkila. Diljit's craft in acting and his grasp on the bits and pieces of music never fail to swoon hearts. For those who don't know, the actor-singer's popularity was widespread when he marked his name as the first-ever Indian to perform at Coachella back in 2023. Recently, in an interview, Diljit's manager, Sonali Singh talked about the singer's performance at Coachella. She also shared an unheard anecdote about one of his live concerts.
Sonali Singh, recently sat for an interview with the YouTube channel, Chai With T, wherein she shared that when Diljit Dosanjh performed at such a prestigious show, it didn't only mean that he was the first ever Indian to perform there, but the whole community felt that everyone made it to Coachella. Talking more about Diljit's performance, Sonali added that whenever the singer takes over the stage and sings, she just gets goosebumps and starts to cry. Sonali can be quoted as saying:
"It was not just Diljit being at Coachella. It was not just him being the first Indian or Punjabi artiste to perform there. The whole community felt that we all made it to Coachella. It was a very proud and an overwhelming moment. The moment he goes on stage, I start crying and it is for every single performance he does. The moment he goes on stage and starts performing, I have goosebumps every single time. I am crying backstage somewhere in the corner.”

Going further in the interview, Sonali Singh shared an incident when Diljit Dosanjh was extremely late for a concert in Jalandhar and they had to land a chopper in a car parking lot. Talking about the same, Sonali revealed that the chopper was booked to avoid the delay but the chopper was itself late and everyone was anxious about what would happen as so many people have been waiting there.
Sonali revealed that much later, the chopper arrived, but due to the delay, the pilot had to land it in a car parking lot. Sonali mentioned that everyone in the audience thought that Diljit was making an entry by landing a chopper, but it was actually unplanned and worked in their favour. In Sonali's words:
"But then the chopper did arrive. The chopper was suppose to land at some other place but since we got so late, the pilot landed the chopper at the car parking right behind the stage. Everybody thought Diljit was making an entry by landing on stage by chopper but that wasn’t the entry we planned. It just worked in our favour. Universe always works in your favour.”
Diljit Dosanjh leaves no stone unturned to melt the hearts of his fans. His electrifying songs often leave his fans grooving to the beats. However, as per several reports, the singer charges a whopping amount to perform live. As per a report by DNA, Diljit charges a whopping amount of Rs. 4 crore for private shows and live concerts, while he reportedly got an amount of Rs. 30 crore for his soulful performance at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding soiree.

Since the last few days, Diljit has been making headlines with his personal life. The singer was reportedly married to an American-based woman, Sandeep Kaur, and they even have a son. However, in a follow-up report, it was suggested that Sandeep and Diljit parted ways six years ago, and they tried to sort things out, but it didn't happen. A source also added that Diljit has moved on and he has someone special in his life.
