Dipika and Shoaib’s love-story is nothing less than a fairytale. The two met each other on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka, and instantly felt the connection. But, Dipika was already in an unhappy marriage with Raunak Mehta. Earlier in an interview, Dipika talked her heart out about falling in love again, and had said, “I wanted to be sure that this relationship wasn't on the rebound. Also, we were getting to know each other better. No matter how progressive we become, being a divorcee has some kind of a social stigma attached to it in our society.” (Also Read: Shoaib Ibrahim Looks Smoking Hot In A Pool Posing For Camera, Dipika Kakar Lovingly Looks At Him)
She further went on to say, “I had that stamp on me. But he gave me that space and despite being aware of my past, never complained about it. He has in fact always respected that. Coming from a small town, even his parents never let me feel that. I have always longed for family. Ammi sends dabba for me when my mother is not there. I feel I am more close to his mom than him. Everything is positive and we are more at peace now.”
After getting married, in an interview with The Times of India, Shoaib talked about the post-marriage experience. He had stated, “I really can’t express it in words but there's a constant happy feeling. Now when you get late at work, you feel bad and want to rush home.” Dipika also revealed the changes that came after the wedding, and had said, “I can't put the feelings in words. I have noticed the change from the day I have got married. I initially thought it's ok Shoaib and I have been in a relationship for so long, but nothing has changed. Maybe the way I look at him, the respect towards him has grown. It's a priceless feeling.”

Last year, Dipika got converted to Islam to get married to the love of her life, Shoaib. After a lot of speculations, the actress confirmed the news to The Times of India, and had shared, “Joh sach hai woh hai (Truth is the truth). It's true I have done it, but why and when I have done it, don't think it needs to be talked about. I think it is a very personal matter and I don't think I need to talk about it openly in front of the media. For the audience and media, we are actors have always shared everything. All our happy moments we have shared with you all, but this I think is a very personal space and I don't give anyone the permission to enter the space. Definitely, it is true and I am not denying it. I am very happy and proud that I have done it for myself and my happiness. My family was with me in this decision and my intentions were to hurt anyone. This is my decision.” (Don't Miss: Sara Ali Khan Reveals The Truth Behind The Reports Of Her Moving Out Of Mom, Amrita Singh's House)
