Dipika Kakar is one of the most loved actresses on television. However, there is a section of people who often troll her for her life choices. Dipika, who took less work after her marriage to Shoaib Ibrahim, received massive hate from the trollers, and they often questioned her decision to be a homemaker. The actress is back on television as a contestant on the Celebrity Masterchef.
Dipika Kakar loves cooking, which is evident on her YouTube channel, where she often shares snippets of her life. She would often cook for huge birthday gatherings at home. From baking cakes to making pizzas, pastas and whatnot, Dipika is an expert. It is her talent that made her say 'yes' to Celebrity Masterchef, which is being hosted by Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and Farah Khan.
In the latest promo of the show, we can see Dipika rushing to make a dish. She was nervous that her dish won't be perfect, but the judges loved it. Dipika started crying the moment she received appreciation. Farah Khan asked her the reason, to which Dipika stated that she was representing those who were put down for cooking in the kitchen. She was quoted as saying:
"Mai unko represent karna chahti hoon jinko yeh bol kar dabaya jata hai ki, 'Arey kitchen mein khana hi to banati hai.' Haan, hoon mai home cook."
Dipika's emotional breakdown left everyone sobbing on the show. However, it was Farah Khan, who appreciated and said that those who troll her got a good reply back with her stint. Dipika in return gave a flying kiss to her.
As soon as the promo was uploaded, netizens rushed to the comments section, and started calling out Dipika. One user pointed out Dipika for overacting and wrote, "It’s not sasural simar ka stop overacting please." Another one commented on show was for the common people, "Seriously yaar ek show jo comman logo ke liye tha usme bhi ab celebrity aaenge."

A third user highlighted the fact that why Dipika didn't covered her head, which she does while cooking in her vlogs. The user penned, "Why not covering her head while cooking ?? In her videos she always covers her head n cooks… just curious." Another wrote, "Iska funda hai she will cry & winner banjayegi she did the same thing in bigboss."

After making a huge name in the world of glam and glitz, Dipika took a step back from acting and even announced that she wanted to focus on her role as a housewife. During her pregnancy, she clearly stated that she might not return anytime soon. Later, Dipika clarified that she would return on television when the time would be right.
