The ‘parallel world’ that we keep on talking about, has now come to an end. Yes, Bigg Boss 12 too, quite like every season of India’s famous controversial reality TV show, came and went by with a bang! After 3 months of fighting, shouting, missing their loved ones, going to the BB jail, making invaluable relationships inside the house, it was on late night yesterday (December 30, 2018), that Dipika Kakar was announced the winner of his season. Remember when, celebrity astrologer, Sanjay Jumaani had gone inside the Bigg Boss 12 house during Diwali and had predicted that not only Deepika Padukone, but Dipika Kakar too, will make headlines this year? And trust me you, he was so correct! The highest paid contestant on the show (Rs 14-16 lakh per week), winning did not come easy to Television’s Simar. Dipika had to face multitudes of allegations, was projected as ‘fake’ multiple times, and was often warned of not being seen without her ‘bhai’ Sree Santh.
And finally yesterday, one of the most renowned faces of the telly town was crowned the winner. Dipika’s hubby, Shoaib Ibrahim, mother-in-law and his sister, Saba were present to support Dipika at the grand finale. One of the videos that is getting viral on social media is that of the lady’s hubby, Shoaib, lifting up Dipika in his arms post her win! Checkout the video here and drool!
Amazing, right? Dipika has always been vocal about the fact that she is doing the show just for money. Before entering the Bigg Boss 12 house, she shared in an interview with TOI, “Yes, of course. Money is one of the reasons and I would not shy away from admitting it. I mean we all work to make money and I am doing the same. Ise kabulne mein mujhe koi sharam nahi.”
Earlier speaking about Dipika gave a nod to entering the show, she was quoted as saying, “There is no calculative reason behind doing the show. This year when Bigg Boss came to me I just felt that doing Bigg Boss would be the right move for my career. It is going to be emotionally challenging for me as I am very attached to my family. But we all have to take decisions to reach a place in life and earn money. Also, this is a big platform and a good opportunity, so why not?" The Paltan actress had also shared that she is not among those persons who takes other people’s nonsense. Sharing about the same, she had revealed, “Yes, I know BB house is known for fights and I am not one of those who will sit quietly and take the crap. If someone tries to pick a fight with me for no reason, he/she will get a reaction. However, at the same time, I will not be the one who will unnecessarily start fights because I am not short-tempered. I don't know what Bigg Boss house will do to me.”
Dipika’s doting hubby, Shoaib Ibrahim, had always been extending his support for his wife from outside the house. In an interview with Bollywoodlife, the Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey actor had shared that it was a very depressing moment for Dipika when she was about to enter the house. He was then quoted as saying, “It was very depressing. I remember we were very emotional as we sat in her vanity van hours before she walked in. At one point, I just wanted her to get in as it was unbearable." He had also stated, “It was a tough decision but my mom told her that going inside would be a great decision. She said she was confident that Dipika would win hearts on the show."
On December 10, 2018, almost every Bigg Boss lover was moved to tears when Shoaib entered the Bigg Boss 12 house. As soon as she was relived of her ‘freeze’ moment, she leapt and hugged her hubby. Speaking about the same in an interview with Times Now, Shoaib was quoted as saying, “I was really nervous because I was meeting her after such a long time, I had less time and a lot to tell her. It was nice; I met everyone else in the house, too. Oh and she had made halwa for me in the house.” Remembering Dipika’s breakdown when she had wanted to meet her him, Shoaib shared, “Yeah I feel I should have entered the house much before I actually did but it’s fine. The difficult part is over now and she will just be in the house for a couple of more weeks.” (Also Read: 'Baahubali' Actor Prabhas Dances With Anushka Shetty At SS Rajamouli's Son's Sangeet [VIDEO])
