Television couple, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim never fail to give us couple goals with their adorable social media PDAs. From organising romantic dates to going on bike rides, they know how to enjoy the simple pleasures of married life. We have often seen the duo celebrating each other's milestones and festivals with utmost respect and love. However, it was in the lockdown due to COVID-19, when we had witnessed Shoaib's caring side as he was helping his wife, Dipika in a lot of housework like a good husband. On the other hand, Dipika also never forgets to pamper her doting husband, Shoaib. From cooking his favourite meal to keeping him happy, the actress knows how to take care of her hubby and she never gets tired of it. In their VLogs, we have always seen the husband and wife duo showering love on each other.
On September 4, 2020, Shoaib was feeling unwell, and that's when Dipika showered her love in the form of his favourite food. Yes, the actress made yummy food to make him better. The actor took to his Instagram handle and shared a glimpse of the food made by his 'master chef', Dipika. Alongside it, he wrote, "When you are unwell and you are pampered by your fav food." Coming back to their love story, Shoaib and Dipika grew closer when they had worked together on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka. However, Dipika was already married back then, but in the year 2015, Dipika had a bitter divorce from her ex-husband, Raunak Mehta. And that's when she found love again in Shoaib and she decided to take the leap of faith and give marriage a second chance. In an interview with The Times of India, Dipika had talked about how she fell in love with Shoaib, and had shared, "I wanted to be sure that this relationship wasn’t on the rebound. Also, we were getting to know each other better. No matter how progressive we become, being a divorcee has some kind of a social stigma attached to it in our society. I had that stamp on me. But he gave me that space and despite being aware of my past, never complained about it. He has in fact always respected that. Coming from a small town, even his parents never let me feel that. I have always longed for family. Ammi sends dabba for me when my mother is not there. I feel I am more close to his mom than him. Everything is positive and we are more at peace now."
