It is rightly said that a bhabhi is her nanad’s best friend, confidant, philosopher, guide and whatnot. Right from being your travel buddies to saving you from everyone, a bhabhi and a nanad are each other’s partners in crime. This exactly is the relationship that Sasural Simar Ka actress and Bigg Boss 12 winner, Dipika Kakar shares with her nanad, Saba Ibrahim. Saba and Dipika both keep posting pictures praising each other and represent what a bhabhi-nanad relationship should be like.
Some time back, Saba shared a lovely picture with Dipika and captioned it as, “We might not share the same blood, but we share the same thoughts, the same tears, the same laughter and the same love for each other. #soulsisters #bhabhi #bestfriend #Alhamdulillah #togetherforever #loveher #blessed #happygirlsaretheprettiest #sabakajahaan”. Recently, Dipika has been acknowledged with the Lions Best Reality Icon Award and Saba is so very proud of her bhabhi yet again. To express how happy she is, Saba took to her official Instagram account and shared a click with Dipika from the award function. Along with the same, she wrote, “Congratulations @ms.dipika bhabhi for winning “Lions best reality icon” award humesha ki tarah ekbaar phirse aapne proud feel karaya”. Here’s the snap that Saba put up, along with the video, as Dipika received the award:
Saba and Dipika are very close to each other and they are more like sisters. After Shoaib’s debut movie, Battalion 609, hit the silver screens, Dipika organised a surprise bash for him despite having fever. And it was Saba who took to her official Instagram handle and shared with us this news, praising her bhabhi. She shared the following video and along with it wrote, “Small & cute surprise party by bhabhi for bhai (fever hone ke baad bhi sari preparations karna, cooking karna yeh sab bas aap hi kar sakte ho bhabhi @ms.dipika) @shoaib2087”. Not just her, even Dipika is very expressive on this account. On Saba’s birthday, Dipika took to her official Instagram account and shared a lovely click with the birthday girl. She captioned the snap as, “I’m so glad to have found a best friend in you! You are a person I can confide in, cry on you shoulder when your brother troubles me, take your perfect suggestions when I get stuck in anything n everything, you are the motivator wen I feel low, So you are the True Princess Of our Hearts!!!! Wish you a very happy birthday @saba_ka_jahaan!!!!! Mera bacha hamesha khush rahe kabhi kisiki nazar na lage. Loveeee youuuuuu!!!!”
Their relationship is so strong that the duo has started their fashion label on the name of Dipika’s mother-in-law, 'Sitara'. Talking about the same, Dipika once revealed, “The fashion line is named after our Ammi's name and she is the inspiration behind my clothing line. My sister-in-law was the one who gave me the idea to turn into a stylist. She told me since I have a very different and elegant style, I can venture into having a clothing line for girls who can wear the type of clothes you do. I am enjoying playing with fabrics, colours, etc. Earlier, I was doing it only for myself and our family but now I have decided to take it one step further as a business.” (Also Check: Malaika Arora Writes 'Take Me Back' On Instagram And Arjun Kapoor Has An Interesting Reply To It)
In an interview with The Times of India, Dipika spoke about her hubby and said, “I always say that Shoaib is very lucky for me. He is like a lucky charm in my life. I was enjoying and living the housewife life to the fullest. I am a complete homemaker now. I also helped Shoaib in his work at that time. Overall I was having a gala time.”
Shoaib too has been very open when it comes to talking about his personal life. In an interview with Hindustan Times right after their wedding, Shoaib shared, “Dipika and I have known each other for a long time for anything to change much. It’s just the formality and tagging the relationship with the marriage brand that has changed. But yeah, I feel we both have become more caring towards each other and there’s more love [now]. Also, the fact that we live together now and come back home to each other is a beautiful feeling.” (Also Read: Taimur Ali Khan Roars To The World That His Dad Is A King, And We Agree With Our Little Simmba)
Dipika and Shoaib’s marriage is an inter-caste one, so there were many conjectures whether she has converted into Islaam or not. Putting a full stop to all those, Dipika told The Times of India, “Joh sach hai woh hai (Truth is the truth). It's true I have done it, but why and when I have done it, don't think it needs to be talked about. I think it is a very personal matter and I don't think I need to talk about it openly in front of the media. For the audience and media, we are actors have always shared everything. All our happy moments we have shared with you all, but this I think is a very personal space and I don't give anyone the permission to enter the space. Definitely, it is true and I am not denying it. I am very happy and proud that I have done it for myself and my happiness. My family was with me in this decision and my intentions were to hurt anyone. This is my decision.”
Congratulations Dipika Kakar for another feather in your cap!
