TMKOC's Dayaben, Disha Vakani Allegedly Turns Down 'BB 18's Offer Despite A Promised Pay Of Rs 65 Cr

Disha Vakani, best known for her role as 'Dayaben' in the popular sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, won millions of hearts with her mesmerising acting skills. Disha bid goodbye to the show back in 2017, leaving her fans eagerly waiting for her to return. Well, last year, reports were rife that Disha might come back to TMKOC. She didn't approve of such claims, and she also never appeared in the show. Amid this, reports are rife that the actress turned down an offer of crores from Salman Khan's show.

As per several reports, Disha Vakani was offered Salman Khan's show, Bigg Boss 18. Buzz was also rife that Disha was offered a whopping fee of Rs. 65 crore, the highest remuneration to ever offer to a celebrity. It was reported that the Bigg Boss makers wanted to bring Disha Vakani on their show, but she didn't want to be a part of it. Well, no official confirmation about the same has been made.

As per a report by Koimoi, Disha Vakani once revealed that she got a payment of Rs. 250 for a drama, which was her first paycheck. Well, when she was cast in the sitcom, TMKOC, she started getting paid in lakhs per episode. As per the reports, Disha had a 49900 percent hike, while working on the sitcom, as she was being paid the whopping amount of Rs. 1.25 lakh per episode. 

Disha Vakani's personal life

For the unversed, Disha got married to Mayur Padia in 2015. And in 2017, the couple welcomed their baby girl. It was during that time only when Disha took a break from TMKOC. In 2022, Disha and Mayur welcomed their baby boy, and the family of four, lives a lowkey life away from the media limelight.

Bigg Boss 18 contestants 

Salman Khan is returning as the host of the eighteenth-season of the show, Bigg Boss. The show will be live on and from October 6, 2024. Reports are rife that Nia Sharma and Uorfi Javed's sister, Urusa are the confirmed contestants. Well, the two of them are yet to confirm the same. Among others, content creator, Hema Sharma, aka, 'Viral Bhabhi' will reportedly be seen in the show.

Among others, actor, Sara Khan and her husband and life coach, Afreen Khan will be a part of Bigg Boss 18. TV actors like Alice Kaushik, Nyrraa Banerji, Shehzada Dhami, Chaahat Pandey, Muskan Bamne, and Avinash Mishra will join the show. Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 winner, Karan Veer Mehra can also join Salman's show. Shilpa Shirodkar, TMKOC's Gurucharan Singh, and Chum Darang will reportedly grace Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 18.
