It is that time of the year when the entire nation is busy lighting their hearts and homes with pretty fairy lights and devouring in lip-smacking mithais. Diwali is a perfect time to give ourselves a break from the busy routine and meet our family and friends and celebrate the festival of lights. However, this year nothing is the same because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Everyone is celebrating Diwali at home with their closed ones to maintain social distancing. The Diwali parties have turned into zoom video calls, and people are trying their best to avoid the spread of Coronavirus. Talking about television couple, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya's Diwali plans, the duo is not going to visit Chandigarh this Diwali to meet their family. In fact, they are calling their families at their home as they are all set to celebrate the first Diwali at their new abode. Scroll down to know more about their Diwali plan!
Recently, in an interview with The Times of India, Vivek opened up on their Diwali plan at their new home. He said, "Generally, we go to Chandigarh, my hometown, during Diwali, but this year since it’s our first Diwali at our new home, my parents and sister will visit us instead. In the same interview, Divyanka revealed how much she is missing the Diwali parties. The actress shared, "We will definitely miss the Diwali parties and meeting our friends and colleagues. This time of the year used to be very special because we are usually working, and Diwali was a time to socialise, connect with people and play cards, but this year, we will stay indoors."
For those who don't know, on February 21, 2020, Divyanka and Vivek had shifted to their new 4 BHK lavish home in Lokhandwala. The duo had hosted a griha pravesh puja in the presence of their families and close relatives.
