It so happens that when you work with a person and spend most of the hours in a day with them, you develop feelings for each other. Even in B-town and television world, it doesn’t come as a surprise if two actors are struck by the Cupid’s sharpest arrow, given that they spend close to 12-15 hours a day working together. And if the audience is charmed by their chemistry on-screen, they too wish for them to turn into a real-life couple. Such happened with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co-stars, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya. As Yeh Hai Mohabbatein nears its end, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya expressed her gratitude for the love she has received as ‘Ishi Maa’ and another reason why this show is special for her. As per a Times Now report, Divyanka said in a statement, “We all experience few moments in life where it’s difficult to decide if we should be happy or sad or both. This is definitely one of those moments as I bid adieu to ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ – one of the most beautiful chapters in my life. I am happy for all the love that has been showered on me by fans during this unforgettable journey of 6 years and am also sad that this wonderful chapter is reaching its conclusion. The role of Ishita was like a breath of fresh air, it rejuvenated me and made me explore different facets of my own personality. I didn’t realize when I fell in love with Ishita as a character and it is now an inseparable part of my being. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is much more than a show for me, it gave me my life partner.”
A few days back, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya’s husband, Vivek Dahiya had also taken to his Instagram to express his gratitude for the show to make him meet the love of his life. Vivek, who was seen playing the role of ACP in YHM, in a nostalgic post had written, “Taking a moment to reflect upon the finest memories from YHM days. This show made so many careers but it gave me a tad extra..my beautiful wife! @divyankatripathidahiya. Thank you @ektaravikapoor @balajitelefilmslimited @sandiipsikcand @sonalijaffar @starplus for conceptualising and sustaining a gripping and an entertaining content for so long. I still get referred to as the ACP a lot of times and I left the show 2 years ago. Missed out on getting together with the entire team on and behind the camera as it was the absolute final day of shoot. Congratulations #Yhm for successfully completing 6 years in a very competitive industry and departing gracefully!” (Also Read: Anam Mirza And Asad Azharuddin's First Look From Their Reception, Looks Stunning In A Sequinned Gown)

Divyanka Tripathi was earlier in a longtime relationship with Sharad Malhotra but had parted ways with him in 2015. On Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Divyanka had met Vivek Dahiya but initially the duo didn’t interact much beyond the usual exchange of pleasantries. Both Divyanka and Vivek were looking for meaningful relationships and they started going out with each other with a perspective of marriage and not just casual dating.
In a throwback interview with the DNA, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya had revealed their journey from being co-stars to friends and finally soulmates. When asked about his first impression on her, Divyanka had replied, “I had done a small scene with him and we were barely speaking to each other. Since I had no intention of having a relationship with him, I did not give him much of a thought.” Vivek, on Divyanka’s first impression on him, had retorted, “We were in the in the same show but we never interacted with each other. I had not done any scenes with her for a long time, but I could guage by her body language and from people around her that she was respected as a performer and a person. Always draped in a sari, I thought she was the Tulsi of today.”
Reminiscing the moment when they had thought they he/she is the one for her/him, Vivek Dahiya had remarked, “When a co-actor suggested that Divyanka and I should meet as both of us were single, my first reaction was 'What!' I had never thought of having an arranged marriage because I feel in today's times you need to take your time, know a person and not rush into it. But he insisted that we at least go for a coffee and we did. We had met with the perspective of seeing other as a life partner and in the first meeting itself I was largely convinced that she is the one for me. But I decided not be hasty about it.” And Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya had recalled, “The first time we met, the breeze of love had started blowing and by the third-fourth meeting it had taken us by storm. I realised we are meant to be together. Vivek is a positive person who pulled me out of a major low that I was going through.” (Also Read: Sree Santh Shares A Heartfelt Note For His Wife, Bhuvneshwari Sreesanth On Their Wedding Anniversary)
