But before you start with a home spa routine, it will be better that you identify your hair issue and take precautions accordingly. Here are 10 DIY hair packs according to hair issues that you can try at your home during quarantine, including ingredients that you can readily find at your home.
Take one large potato. Peel the potato and grate it. Now squeeze the juice from the grated potato into a bowl, and mix 2 tablespoon aloe vera and 2 tablespoon honey to this. Mix it till the honey dissolves into the mixture. Massage the solution on your hair roots for a few minutes. Cover your head with a shower cap or towel, and leave it for 2 hours. Wash off your hair with lukewarm water. Repeat this process twice weekly to cure hair loss.
Take 1 tsp honey and 1 glass of raw whole milk. Mix the two ingredients, and then massage it from root to tips into your hair. Take 1 ripe banana and pure almond oil/ badam roghan. Mash the banana and mix it well with almond oil. Massage your hair with the mixture and leave it for 25 minutes. For better results, rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar or beer.
Take fenugreek seeds (meethi daana) and soak in water overnight. Now take the soaked seeds and grind it into a paste. Once the mixture is ready, massage it into your scalp and hair. Leave it for 20 minutes for it to work, and then wash it off.
Take 1 fresh orange, 1 tbsp honey and sandalwood oil. Mix the juice of orange, honey and add 5-7 drops of sandalwood oil to it. Dilute the solution with a cup of water. Shampoo your hair, and use it as an after mask. Let it stay in your hair for 10 minutes, and then briefly wash it off with plain cold water. Take a ripe papaya and remove its skin and seeds. Blend the papaya in the mixer, and add 1 cup of yogurt to it. Blend the mixture well. Apply the mixture through your scalp and hair and let it stay for 30 minutes. Then wash it off with plain cold water.
Take cinnamon and coconut oil in equal amount and blend it well together. Apply the mask on your roots and part, and massage thoroughly into your scalp. Leave it in your hair for 30 to 45 minutes, and rinse it off. Try it at least once a week for best results as it stimulates blood circulation, leading to hair growth. If you are an eggetarian, then this is the best fix you can try. Take 1 egg white and half a lemon. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon and mix it with egg white. Apply the mixture over your hair from roots to ends, and leave it for 30 minutes to an hour. The longer you let it stay, the better it will be for your hair. Rinse it off with lukewarm water only.
Take 2 tbsp of dahi/yoghurt with 1 tbsp of honey and 2 tbsp of lemon juice, and mix it well. Apply the mask on your hair, and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse off the mask with shampoo and lots of water so that the mixture washes off completely.
Take 2 spoons of mayonnaise and 2 spoons of white vinegar; make sure that the quantity will be enough for your hair according to the length and volume of your hair. Mayo is good for conditioning, and vinegar adds shine to your hair. Mix the two ingredients well, and apply the pack on your hair from top to end.
