In the same interview with Forbes Magazine, Dr Trinetra Haldar Gummaraju also recalled the time when she thought of opting for gender-affirmation surgery right in the middle of the pandemic. It was a tricky decision, of course, considering the situation amidst the COVID-19 pandemic back then. She also added that she was nervous and experienced ‘peak anxiety’. However, her friends and followers' constant love and care played an important part in Trinetra Haldar’s recovery from the surgery.
