Shaikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, commonly known as Shaikha Mahra, is among the most famous women in the world. She is the daughter of Dubai's ruler and Prime Minister of the UAE, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Apart from her royal background, Shaikha Mahra advocates for women's empowerment and local designers in the UAE. She recently launched her own brand, MAHRA M1, and it has a connection to her very public divorce with Mana Al Maktoum, on Instagram.
Princess Sheikha Mahra, a few months back, shocked the entire world when she announced her divorce from her husband, Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Bin Mana Al Maktoum, on Instagram. The princess shared a post on her Instagram account addressing her husband. In the post, Princess Sheikha told him she was divorcing him as he is very 'ocupied' elsewhere. In the post, Sheikha Mahra penned:

"Dear Husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife."
The post created a ruckus on social media, as many were in awe of Sheikha Mahra's strength to let go of her marriage and publicly take a stand for herself. Others were not happy with her, for washing her dirty linen in public. For the uninitiated, Mahra and Mana Al Maktoum were married only for a few months when the former announced their divorce.
Now, Sheikha Mahra has started a new phase in her life, as she launched her very own brand, Mahra M1, and perfume line, ‘DIVORCE’. The montage of her perfume featured broken glass, black petals, and a black panther, and the name clearly is an ode to her public separation from Mana Al Maktoum.
For the uninitiated, Shaikha Mahra and Mana Al Maktoum got married on May 28, 2023. It was a lavish and traditional Islamic ceremony, Katb Al-Kitab. On their wedding day, the couple twinned in white. Shaikha wore an embroidered ballgown, while Mana Al opted for a traditional attire. Soon after their wedding, the couple welcomed a daughter in May and named her Mahra after her mother.

On October 18, 2023, Shaikha Mahra took to her Instagram stories and confirmed her pregnancy reports. Dubai Princess posted a mammogram picture to announce the good news and wrote 'Just three of us' atop it. Back at that time, no one would've thought things would go absolutely downhill in the next eight months. For the uninitiated, on June 4, 2024, Shaikha posted a cutesy picture on her Instagram handle where she could be spotted holding her baby girl in her arms.
