Famous Dubai-based YouTuber, Khalid Al Ameri, who often shared life in the Middle East on his YouTube channel, was married to Salama Mohamed, and they parted ways in 2024. Soon, reports claimed that Khalid is engaged to Tamil actress, Sunaina, who is known for her role in the web series Rishi. While neither Khalid nor Sunaina have confirmed the news, the social media is abuzz with the murmurs, courtesy of their engagement posts.
It was on June 5, 2024, Sunaina took to her Instagram handle and posted a monochrome picture, wherein we can see her holding a man's hand. Along with the post, she put a 'lock emoji', hinting that she has been locked for life, or can say engaged. However, Sunaina kept her fiance's face hidden, leaving her fans confused. Later, Khalid posted a similar photo, wherein he held a girl's hand. However, it was the gorgeous diamond ring that became the highlight.

Recently, in an interview with Nour Aldin for his YouTube channel, Salama first talked about her split from Khaild. The confirmation comes after Khalid announced his engagement, and it seems like Salama must have had time to process it. When Nour asked, "You are now separated, or can I say divorced?" The YouTuber immediately responded, "Divorced."
Salama further revealed how she has been adjusting to the massive change in her life. The mother of two revealed that it is the first time she is not dependent on anyone. She stated that before her marriage, she was dependent on her family, and after marriage on her husband. But now she is independent and is being known as just 'Salama'.
Salama and Kahlid's divorce murmurs started after the ex-couple deleted their joint Instagram account. They engaged with a wide audience as they would make comedy content, which was enjoyed by people all over the world. Salam and Khalid also deleted all their pictures together and unfollowed each other from social media, intensifying the rumours.
On the work front, Salama is raising her two kids and expanding her skincare brand. On the other hand, Khalid is in India.
