Even though now we mark our puja days from Chaturthi, technically, the auspicious days start with Sosthi. So, to start the first day of Durga Puja, take a look at the beautiful and ever gorgeous Karisma Kapoor's outfit. The actress had looked stunning in an ivory coloured anarkali suit set with a matching dupatta with an intricate resham cutwork, designed by Punit Balana. She had completed her look with loose curls, a golden statement neckpiece, and a pair of earrings. She had kept her makeup minimal but had opted for bold red lips, red bindi and mojaris. Karisma had looked fresh and dewy.
While stepping into the second day of Puja, you would like to glam up your attire a bit, and that's where our bong beauty, Kajol, takes an entrance. She has a special corner for sarees, and Durga Puja can never be complete without sarees! She had looked beautiful in an orange pastel-hued saree with small white dots and embroidered border, and she had paired it with a matching sleeveless blouse. She had completed her look with a big pair of statement earrings and very subtle makeup that included blushed cheeks, highlighted cheekbones, nude lips, curled-up lashes with mascara, and she had kept her tresses open in soft locks. You can easily recreate this look for your Saptami outing with any of your light coloured or undertoned sarees by pairing with a heavy pair of earrings and minimal makeup.

For Bengalis, Ashtami, the third day, holds a special place. Everyone wakes up early in the morning to deck up for anjali. And at night, they mostly plan an all-nighter for pandal hopping with friends and families. To arrange your lookbook for Ashtami, who can be a better inspiration than the versatile and gorgeous actress, Vidya Balan? With time, Vidya has proved her love for sarees, and Ashtami is the day when the Bengali women drape in various ranges of sarees to look their best.
For morning, let's take a look at Vidya's soft maroon and black coloured scripted cotton saree, which she had paired with a simple black blouse, oxidised jewellery set that had included a kada, a finger ring, and a pair of earrings. She had completed the look with kohled eyes, a black bindi, and a sleek bun. The whole outfit will give a Shantiniketani vibe!
At night, dazzle in a bright coloured or a multi-coloured, striped saree just like the actress. She had draped a magenta and neon green coloured, striped saree embroidered with tiger motifs in one of her Sherni promotions from Torani's collection. She had paired it with a matching blouse and golden hoops. She had completed the look with bold golden eyes with winged liner, a sleek ponytail with a statement braid in the crown area, and brown lipstick.

By the time Navami comes, it also strikes that Durga Puja is about to come to an end. But before it actually happens, it's the night to dazzle. Take a cue from the evergreen, beautiful, dancing diva, Madhuri Dixit. Madhuri Dixit had worn a stunning blue skirt and top, embellished with mirror and sequins designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and had paired it with statement earrings. She had kept her hair puffed up from the crown portion and completed her look with minimal makeup. But, what had grabbed our attention was her gorgeous ruffle top.
Dashami marks the fifth day of Durga puja, which means the last day. And on this day, Bengali brides worship Maa Durga and play with vermillion with each other. In the Dashami lookbook, one of the must-haves is the red-bordered white saree.
Look at the ravishing Bengali beauty, Bipasha Basu. She had looked so pretty in the white cotton saree with broad red borders, which she had paired with a simple red blouse, a pair of golden kundan jhumkas and red bangles. She had completed her look with red bindi, sindoor, winged liner, bold red lips, and sankha and pola. She had also flaunted her wedding ring and a golden embroidered potli bag. It was her first sindoor khela after her marriage with Karan Singh Grover.
Now you have the lookbook for the five days. Get ready and dazzle during each day of Durga Puja. Let us know which look you liked the most!
