Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor are proud parents of two kids, Tusshar Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. While Tusshar chose to try his luck in acting, Ekta preferred to stay behind the camera and has given us some exceptional shows and movies. Jeetendra and Shobha had tied the knot on October 31, 1974, and today, the duo has completed 44 years of blissful marital life. Their doting daughter, Ekta took to her Instagram to wish her parents and it was her funny wish that had caught our attention. Ekta shared an unseen picture from her parent's wedding and captioned it as “Happie anniversary homies Just wish u guys hadn’t married on #Halloween hahahah.”
Ekta Kapoor is now a proud mother through surrogacy and had lovingly named her son, Ravie Kapoor. On February 1, 2019, Ekta’s mother and managing director of Balaji telefilms, Shobha Kapoor had celebrated her 70th birthday. To wish her mommy, Ekta had shared a picture of her mother and had written a heartfelt note for her, indicating that she has given her the best birthday gift ever, by gifting her Ravie Kapoor! Ekta had written, “Happie bday to my boss! U cannot deny that on your 70th I have given the best bday gift to u! Ekta’s brother and actor, Tusshar Kapoor had also embraced fatherhood through surrogacy and has a son whom the family had lovingly named, Laksshya Kapoor. In an interview with Mid-day, the legendary actor, Jeetendra had talked about both the kids and had said, “Shobha and I were over the moon when we heard it first. We are looking forward to him coming home. Our family makes daily rounds of the suburban hospital where the baby is currently under supervision. My family says he (Ravie) looks just like me, but then, a child's looks keep changing every day. It's tough to say who he will resemble in the future. Now, I have Laksshya and Ravie — they are the apple of my eye. I can die peacefully now as both my babies have their own babies."

Now let us take you through the love story of Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor. For the unversed, before entering the showbiz world, Jeetendra's name was Ravi Kapoor and he had met his lovely wife, Shobha at the mere age of 14 at Marine Drive. Jeetendra was linked with many Bollywood ladies and was a popular name in the industry by the time Shobha was in college. Despite his linkup and marriage rumours, Jeetendra was determined on marrying Shobha. Back then, the couple was all set to tie the knot on April 13, 1973, but there wedding was called off due to Jeetendra 's father’s ill health.
