Emraan Hashmi has been one of the most popular actors in Bollywood. His acting, style, and witty interviews have often impressed the audience. After several years of dating, the actor married Parveen Shahani in December 2016. Since then, the couple has been happily married, and Emraan credits his wife for being understanding despite his on-screen image of a 'serial kisser.' Recently, Emraan appeared on Shubhankar Mishra's podcast and shared some exciting deets about his marriage.
In his conversation, Emraan revealed that several relatives of his now-wife, Parveen, didn't support their marriage. The primary reason for their hesitancy was the serial kisser image of Emraan. However, things eventually fell into place, and they are happily married now. He was quoted as saying:
"Her family had 'dikkat', but at the very beginning. I had a strong image, you see. They were like, 'Wow, she's going to marry Emraan Hashmi?' They've never met me; I'm talking about distant relatives. But finally, when we met…"

In the same interview, Emraan shared that his on-screen image was often a subject of debate between him and Parveen. He added that they shared different views on the matter. But Emraan added that Parveen has always been understanding. Otherwise, he may not have been able to play those kinds of roles. The Tiger 3 actor said that she stood by him when he had no money and that he valued her a lot. In his words:
"We've had 18 years of wonderful, happy marriage. I value her in my life, and I would never leave her."
Emraan enjoys working as an actor, but his relationship with his wife, Parveen, always comes first.The actor said that he never thought of putting work before his marriage. For the unversed, the couple have a son, Ayaan Hashmi, who was born on February 3, 2010. The actor said that his work was never affected due to being a married man. He said:
"In my life, my relationship, my love for her was the priority. Profession was secondary."
