After embracing motherhood, the most important thing for a mother is to spend all her time with the little one. But what’s extra special is, coming back to the routine and doing what she loves the most. One such newbie celeb mom who has set some major post-pregnancy goals is actress-dancer Esha Deol Takhtani. Esha gave birth to her daughter, Radhya in October 2017, and post that, she has lost oodles of weight and is raring to go. Not only is Esha Deol glowing in her perfect post-pregnancy figure, but has also made her comeback on-stage. Just like her mother and veteran actress, Hema Malini is known for her dancing skills, Esha too performs and is trained in classical Bharatanatyam by her mother. Esha is also trained in the Odissi dancing style under Mumbai guru Rabindra Atibuddhi. Hema Malini’s daughters, Esha and Ahana Deol are both trained classical dancers, and whenever the trio performs together, they set the stage on fire.
After a long break due to pregnancy, Esha was back on-stage with her mother, Hema Malini at Siri Fort Auditorium, Delhi. On March 17, 2018, Esha and Hema ji performed in Delhi and Esha posted a picture and a video from the event. She captioned them, “First Classical dance performance after a long time, today at Delhi Siri fort auditorium! Gratitude!!! With @dreamgirlhemamalini” (Also Read: Taimur Ali Khan Giggles While Enjoying His Park Visit With Daddy Saif, Pictures Inside!)
Even the dream girl of Bollywood, Hema Malini shared the glimpses from the event, and captioned it, “Both Esha and Ahaana were scheduled to dance with me as it is a significant theme where I hand over the baton to the next gen - but only Esha performed - Ahaana was indisposed. Anyway, it was a big success and Esha performed like a dream! She’s a natural #parampara #srifort”. Esha Deol is also making her comeback on-screen with a short film, Cakewalk. Speaking about her comeback, Esha was quoted as saying, "Honestly, my priority is my daughter Radhya now. I have requested my husband to take a break for a few days and just be with Radhya while I wrap up the shoot in one schedule. And I am lucky to have someone like Bharat." And how the idea of this short film was originated, Esha reverted, "The idea of making a film came into Ram Kamal's mind while he was interviewing me for his book on my mother."
In an interview, Esha said that she feels proud that her mother is promoting Indian classical dance, while everyone is leaning towards western. She retorted, “Today everybody is learning Zumba, Salsa… I am happy my mom is still promoting our Indian classical dance.” Once talking about the dance parampara, Hema Malini said in an interview, “Dance for me is devotion, meditation and also tradition. I perform Parampara with my daughters Esha and Aahana Deol and that is the most beautiful moment for all of us because it is carrying forward a tradition. My daughters understand that art has to be pursued and nourished. The fulfilment I experience after a dance show cannot be compared to the experience of a film.” (Also Read: 'Ishqbaaz' Fame Actor Kunal Jaisingh Gets Engaged To His 'The Buddy Project' Co-Star Bharati Kumar)
Before the birth of her daughter Radhya Takhtani, Hema Malini expressed her wish to teach Bharatanatyam to her granddaughter if Esha delivers a baby girl. Hema ji remarked, “I am just waiting for Esha’s baby! I already have my little guardian (Ahaha’s son, Darien), he is a wonderful kid, my grandson! He is very fond of everybody in the family, but I like to believe that we both have a special bond. I like to make sure that kids have a little spiritual inclination, so Darien folds his hands and wishes people, has prashad I offer my Laddu Gopal (God idol). I don’t know if they will believe in God as they will grow up, he, of course, doesn’t understand spirituality now, but it is beautiful to see my grandchildren growing up so well. If Esha has a boy, I will have one more grandson, and she has a girl I will definitely teach her Bharatanatyam!” (Also Read: After Confirming Her Wedding News, Rubina Dilaik Has Very Sweet Words For Abhinav Shukla)
