Esha Deol Revealed The Amount Of Money She Gets From Her Brothers After Tying Rakhi, 'I Would Get..'

Bollywood actress, Esha Deol shares a very warm bond with her half-brothers, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. For the unversed, veteran actor, Dharmendra tied the knot with Prakash Kaur in 1957 and the couple welcomed four kids, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajeeta Deol and Vijeeta Deol. Despite being a married man, Dharmendra couldn’t help but fall in love with actress, Hema Malini.

Dharmendra converted to Islam to marry Hema without divorcing his first wife, Prakash Kaur. After their marriage, Hema and Dharmendra welcomed two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. Despite the family dynamics, Esha and Ahana share a cordial bond with their half-siblings.

Esha Deol reveals how much money she gets from her brothers on Raksha Bandhan

Once, in a throwback interview with Filmygyan, Esha talked about celebrating Raksha Bandhan with her brothers and getting a decent amount. Revealing how she ties rakhi to her father, Dharmendra, Esha shared:

“Yeah, usually it's a beautiful tradition that we follow, we always look forward to it. Even as kids you know. And for some reason as kids, we would tie rakhi even to my dad, which was very sweet. So from him and the brothers, I would get a nice amount, a decent amount."

In the same interaction, Esha revealed that since she has many brothers, she would get somewhere around Rs 500 to Rs 5000, but the amount never crossed a lakh. When the host asked the actress how she spends the money, Esha replied that she actually doesn't spend the money as it is a shagun from her brothers.

In Hema Malini's biography, Beyond the Dreamgirl, Esha stated that every year on the holy occasion of Raksha Bandhan, she ties Rakhi to her step-brothers, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. The excerpt from Hema Malini's biography can be read as:

"I don’t need to tell the world about the relationship between myself and my half-brothers. I know the world talks about our relationships in different ways. But the Deol family members do not want to show off their relationships. Sunny Bhaiya is very innovative and a very good person at heart too. I treat him like a father. Bobby bhaiyya’s behavior is also very good, but he is a bit reserved."

When Hema Malini talked about Esha and Ahana’s bond with Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol

There have been many speculations about an alleged feud between Dharmendra’s son, Sunny and Bobby with Hema Malini’s daughters, Esha and Ahana. However, Esha Deol put an end to it after she hosted a special screening of her step-brother, Sunny Deol's film, Gadar 2, at her house. The actress even shared a picture of herself posing with her siblings together, and everyone was stunned by how good and happy they looked together.

In an interview with News18 Showsha, Hema Malini opened up about her daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol's reunion with Dharmendra's sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. Expressing her happiness about the same, Hema shed some light on the current dynamics between the two families and said:

“I am feeling very happy, I do not feel it is something new because it is very normal. Many times they keep coming home and all but we do not publish it anywhere, we are not the type to take pictures and immediately put it up on Instagram. We are not that kind of a family."
