“For the first five-six months, there were only lows, because they were retrieving eggs and planting them, and I don’t know how many times I must have gone under general anaesthesia. The first time I went to the doctor I was so sure that I was pregnant, but I literally got my period in her office. So I used to be sobbing all the way back to the shoot.”

Moving forth in the conversation, Farah added how despite such heartbreaking news, she was required to go back to her shooting, where she was supposed to direct a comedy scene. However, she wasn’t able to focus herself, and Shah Rukh Khan was the first person who noticed that. Farah then revealed how he halted the shoot and called her into his vanity, where she ended up sobbing for an hour. In her words:
“One day, in the middle of the day, I got a call from the doctor, and she said it’s not happened this time. We were shooting a comic scene, and Shah Rukh knew something was wrong, because I was going to cry. So, he called for a break and took me into his van, where I’ve sobbed for one hour.”
In the concluding segment of the interaction, Farah Khan talked about the day when she was finally able to conceive her triplets. She mentioned how she told the news to no one first, except Shah Rukh Khan. Moreover, she added how the actor made extra caring gestures for her, from arranging a comfortable couch for her on the shooting set to gifting her an expensive pram. Moreover, SRK’s darling wife, Gauri Khan, even hosted a beautiful baby shower bash for her as well. Summing it up, Farah said:
“I said, ‘I have to tell you something’. He looked at me and said, ‘Are you pregnant?’ We still had to finish Darde-e-Disco, and every time he’d remove his shirt I would throw up. He would keep a bucket next to me. He was very sweet, he ordered this lazy boy couch, instead of the director’s chair, so that I could lie down with a mic and shout at people. He gifted me a fancy pram from Harod’s. He came home and he fixed it, but it was so big that it wouldn’t go out of the door.”
