Farah Khan, the famous choreographer and filmmaker, has been through the toughest times as she lost her mother, Menaka Irani on July 26, 2024. Getting out of the dark times was extremely difficult for her, but her new journey as a YouTuber inspired her to get back for the love of her fans. In the first vlog after the tragedy, Farah shot with her mom-in-law, and got emotional as she showered her with love.
On August 9, 2024, Farah shared her first video on YouTube after her mother's demise. She was seen cooking with her mom-in-law for her YouTube channel. In the video, Farah revealed that her mother-in-law first time cooked Mangalorean fish curry for her in twenty years of marriage.

Further in the Vlog, Farah even touched her mother's feet as soon as she entered the house. Her mother-in-law was left surprised, seeing Farah's gesture. The filmmaker got emotional and said:
"Tum roj aayega toh nai touch kar skta, jis din camera hoga usi din touch karna hai. Abhi ek hi maa bacha hai mere pass I need to touch her feet everytime."
Farah's gesture towards her mom didn't went unnoticed and netizens hailed them. One user wrote, "When farha mam said 1 hi maa bacha hai mere pass my heart is melted." Another one commented, "It needs strength and spirit to say "abhi mere pass ek hi maa hai." @FarahKhan." One of the netizens wrote, "That's so emotional to accept."

For those who don't know, Farah Khan's mother, Menka Irai was 79 years old when she passed away after undergoing multiple surgeries. After her sudden demise, Farah took to her Instagram handle and shared a post remembering the time she spent with her. She penned a long note calling her mother a unique person who stayed away from the limelight.
Farah revealed how her mother went through the toughest times at a young age, and despite it, she had no bitterness or envy towards anyone. An excerpt from her note can be read as:
" My mom was a very unique person.. never wanted the limelight or any fuss around her.. despite the hard knocks she faced in her early life she was a rare one who had no bitterness or envy towards anyone. Everyone who met her loved her n realised where we get our sense of humour from. Well hardly.. she was far wittier and funny than both Sajid and I put together."
Farah further added that it was time for her to get back to work. She stated she does not want to heal the lump in her heart that her departure has caused. She does not want to spend time missing her as she will always be a part of her. She expressed gratitude to the universe for her mother.
