'Celebrity MasterChef': Farah Khan Shuts Down Nikki Tamboli For Complaining About Tejasswi Prakash

The popular cooking reality show, Celebrity MasterChef, is gradually making its way to the final week, and the atmosphere in the kitchen is heating up. The contestants have a lot at stake, and the daily cooking challenges are also not getting any easier. Amid the high-stakes battleground, the emotions of participants are also running at an all-time high. The latest episode of the show took a dramatic turn when Nikki Tamboli and Tejasswi Prakash broke into a verbal spat, but the host, Farah Khan was not having any of it.

Nikki and Tejaswi get into a verbal spat

In the latest episode of Celebrity MasterChef, which premiered on March 19, 2025, things took a dramatic twist that left everyone in shock, and some were even in tears. The show’s host, Farah Khan, along with Chef Ranveer Brar raised the stakes with a black apron challenge. In the challenge, the celebrity participants had to cook their signature dishes using just four ingredients. To make things tougher, they introduced a one-pot cooking rule. But the surprises didn’t stop there — the contestants were then told to swap their cooking stations mid-challenge, throwing the entire kitchen into chaos.

One of the contestants was veteran TV actress, Usha Nadkarni, who was seen getting teary-eyed after this twist. Meanwhile, Nikki Tamboli, who had to swap stations with Tejasswi Prakash and her half-finished dish, did not seem thrilled about the same. After seeing Tejasswi’s dish, Nikki expressed frustration and quipped:

“Mujhe kabhi samajh mein nahi aata ye Teju kya banati hain.”

Nikki struggled with the dish she inherited. Seeing her cook rice in a deep frying pan, Farah jokingly asked if she was cooking thermocol balls. She also snapped Nikki back into focus, asking her to get on with whatever she had, as this was what she would be judged for. She said:

“Jo chhodke gaya hai, abhi kuch nahi fayda hai kosne se, tujhe apne tareeke se aage leke jana padega. Ise apne dish bana kyunki tera judgment isi dish se hoga.”

The drama between Nikki and Tejasswi didn’t end there. During the task, Tejasswi sought Nikki’s help, but the latter refused to do so. Nikki told Tejasswi she’d have to wash her utensils if she wanted her prawns. A visibly irked Tejasswi clapped back, saying:

“Gadhe ko baap banana padta hai.”

What’s next on Celebrity MasterChef?

Celebrity MasterChef premiered on January 27, 2025, and has since attracted audiences’ eagerness. According to reports, the grand finale has already been shot. Buzz suggests that Gaurav Khanna has bagged the winner’s title, with Nikki Tamboli as the runner-up and Tejasswi Prakash finishing third. While official confirmation is awaited, fans are eagerly counting down to the finale’s telecast.
