Farida Jalal is one of the most commonly recognised actresses who has worked in various mediums like TV, films, and OTT. Beginning her career in 1967, the actress has worked with nearly every other superstar over the years. In a recent interview with India Today, the actress spilled the beans on her present relationship with stars like SRK and Salman, and her response shocked the fans. Now, the actress has clarified her previous statement.
Farida Jalal, who has worked with SRK in films like DDLJ and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, mentioned that she was not in touch with him. Her statement drew much attention, and fans interpreted her statements differently. As soon as her statements made headlines, she was flooded with questions. In another recent interview with Zoom, the actress said that her remarks were misinterpreted, and she meant that SRK and Salman might have changed their numbers. She was quoted as saying:
"I just said that the numbers that I have are perhaps the old ones. They must have changed them. That's all I had said."

The DDLJ actress said that she was asked an innocent question and gave a simple answer. However, she was affected when people interpreted her statements in wrong ways. Some netizens made a conclusion that she meant SRK has changed in a negative way over the years.
Although people made the wrong interpretation, Farida shared that SRK has changed for good over time. Farida Jalal worked extensively with the Khans in the 90s and early 2000s. At the same time, she feels he has become a seasoned actor. She said:
"Thoda sa kachcha bhi tha toh he has become such a seasoned actor. He is, in fact, the best we have."

Farida Jalal, last seen in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, earlier said that she is no longer in touch with SRK and Salman Khan. She said that there was no one online at their previous numbers, which made it difficult for her to contact them. However, when SRK found out she was consulting the same doctor as him, he took the initiative to call her. But, later, his number was changed, and his secretary was not kind to Farida. So, Farida couldn't do anything else and has not been in contact with SRK.
