It was on October 14, 2019, when Mohena Kumari Singh got married to her ‘Prince Charming’, Suyesh Rawat in Haridwar where lakhs of people had gathered to witness the duo’s grand union. On her wedding, Mohena had looked every bit of gorgeous in a traditional red Rajputana poshak with pallu drawn over her head, small bindi, matha patti and borla (maang teeka), traditional jadau nath and all-red chooda. And yet again she proved that simple is the new 'in' and had looked breathtaking!
After almost a fortnight from her wedding, Mohena Kumari Singh is all geared up for her lavish wedding reception in Rewa. For the same, Mohena looked nothing short of an angel straight from heaven in a magenta and golden lehenga choli, pallu over her forehead, matha patti, nath and heavy jewellery. Her hubby, Suyesh Rawat no less than a real-life Prince in an off-white bandhgala and a Rajputi talwar in his hand. But the best part was how he twinned with his 'queen' in a colour-coordinated safa (turban). Now that you already know, Mohena Kumari Singh’s marriage was extremely special for her family as it was after 100 years that a princess got married in the royal family of Rewa. Revealing details about her wedding, Mohena had stated in an interview, “The sangeet is on October 13 and the wedding will take place on October 14 in Haridwar. Mohena Kumari Singh has taken a break from acting and has permanently shifted to Dehradun, at her in-laws’ house. While her Instagram account never fails to deliver the much-anticipated updates that we need to know about Mohena, it was in an interview with The Times of India, that the actress had revealed about her life post-wedding. She had stated, “It’s so refreshing to let new things happen. I am dressing up, eating a lot of food and doing pujas. The food in my new home in Dehradun is just amazing. My in-laws eat good homemade spicy food. And I have been eating a lot spicier and yummier food at my new abode, meeting new family members, relatives and friends. It’s like a break for me and it just feels so good.”
Now that the beauty is married, how does a day in the life of Mohena Kumari Singh looks after her wedding? She had stated in the same interview with the TOI, “My life has changed a lot and so has my lifestyle. Every morning, I start my day by getting ready, dressing up like a new bride, applying sindoor and wearing bangles. I have always dreamt of doing these things. And the funny part is, I had already learnt a lot about this while doing Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. I got lessons on the set itself where I would dress up in ethnic outfits for the show. It’s like creating a magical world out of reality!”
All Mohena Kumari Singh fans, don’t you want to know about how she and her hubby, Suyesh Rawat had met? Revealing that it was an arranged marriage, the 30-year-old beauty had shared in yet another interview with The Times of India, “My brother told his brother about me. The families liked each other and here we are. I have always wanted an arranged marriage.
