Unexpected linkup stories are a part and parcel of every celeb life. One morning, you might wake up with the rumour of one of your favourite celebrities dating someone, and the very next day, you might find their breakup stories popping up on your news feed. But all thanks to social media, these days we aren’t deprived of knowing the facts, for celebs and their personal social media handles showcase all the truth. And something similar happened when a few days back, rumours about a possible dating spree between television superstar, Krystle D’souza and Race 3 actor, Freddy Daruwala started doing the rounds. While rumours mills suggested that Freddy and Krystle were in a possible dating spree, the Belan Wali Bahu actress recently took to Twitter and shunned all such dating speculations. Her tweet could be read as, “Wow! Never even met this person [Freddy Daruwala] in my life and I am apparently dating and have some ‘growing PDA at private parties’ with him? I don’t know to laugh or be upset about baseless news like these! Also, you might be looking for ‘crystal’ and I might be looking forward to an apology.”
While that cleared it all, Freddy is once again back in the news, but this time for all the right reasons. The handsome actor has been married for over 6 years to Crystal Variava and is blessed with his first child, a baby boy on February 03, 2019. Revealing about the same in a statement, Freddy was quoted as sharing, “My wife and I have been blessed with a healthy baby boy. Since he is our first child, we are really excited. We are looking forward to spending our lives with him. He is our bundle of joy."
In a 2017 interview with Hindustan Times, the Force 2 actor had stated that he likes to keep his personal life away from public glare, the reason you will not find most of his family pictures on social media. Speaking about his family life, he had stated, "My family prefers leading a normal life. You won’t find their photos online nor do I share them on social media. My mother still goes out for grocery shopping and bargains with the seller. To keep them away from public attention, I make sure that I don’t speak much about them. If they get recognised, they have to follow a certain lifestyle, and they aren’t ready for it."
Speaking about his marriage, he had then shared, "It’s not that I deny that I am married, but I don’t want to talk about what’s going on in my personal [married] life. I’d rather talk about my work." Speaking about how he would want to raise his children, Freddy had shared, “I don’t want my kids to grow up on the basis that they are born to a film star. They must lead a life away from all the attention. They should be able to make a name for themselves.” (Must Read: Vicky Kaushal Reveals How He Fell In Love With GF Harleen Sethi, Says It Felt Right From Beginning)

Freddy had shared screen space with many who’s who of the tinsel town. While working with Salman Khan in Race 3, the actor had received a tagline from the star, who called him metrosexual (a man who is extremely cautious of his appearance). Revealing the reason to Asian Age, Freddy had stated, “Now it so happens that I come from a modelling background and I have been told to save my skin from sun. Avoid getting tanned as an actor you need to have a clear skin. So whenever I came out of the van I would come under the shelter of an umbrella to protect my skin from the bright sunlight. Hence, Salman sir gave me the tag of ‘Metrosexual man.’”
Speaking about his career graph, the grey-eyed hunk shared with Mid-Day, “I started my career in 2014 and in the span of four years, I have done eight films, including regional and independent films. But people only can recall my screen presence from those big budget films. Hopefully, I will reach to a point in my career from where I will be able to combine both kinds of film.”
He had also added, “I keep getting different kind of films, but I am very choosy about what I pick up. As a newcomer like me, I am offered two kinds of works, one that gives me money, and another that builds my career. I would definitely go for the later because bigger films give me more visibility and mileage."
