Emraan and Parveen had been high school sweethearts of each other who had known each other for quite a few years. Their love and fondness had blossomed back then, and the duo had also been dating each other for quite some time. At that time, while Emraan struggled to strike professional stability, he was still committed to Parveen, and the duo was keen to take their relationship to the next level.
For the unversed, Emraan is the nephew of popular filmmaker, Mahesh Bhatt. Hence, he was closely associated with the working of the film industry way before he made his first step into it. In 2002, Emraan decided to assist his uncle, Mahesh Bhatt, in directorial work with the film, Raaz. However, seeing his keen interest in acting, Mahesh advised him to take up acting. Thereby, he cast Emraan in the film, Footpath. Though it was not a commercial hit, it established him as an actor and gave him adequate recognition.
It was in 2004 when Emraan got his big successful break in the film, Murder. Reportedly, the film ran for over 100 days in most theatres and landed him the tag of a romantic serial kisser. This film gave Emraan the much-needed professional stability he desired to marry his lady love, Parveen.

Interestingly, both Emraan and Parveen are complete introverts regarding their personal lives. Being two stable dedicated lovers to each other, the duo got married in a traditional nikaah ceremony on December 14, 2006. The private event was only attended by the couple’s close friends and families, including the Bhatts. Unfortunately, how much many of his fans would have loved to see a glimpse of his magical wedding, there is not even a single picture of the couple's magical union.

The madly-in-love duo was in seventh heaven every day after they tied the nuptial bond. Entirely contrary to his portrayal of a cassanova lover boy on the silver screen, he was completely dedicated and rather lousy lover for his darling wifey. In an interview, Emraan had once mentioned how in his personal life, the actor was completely unromantic with his wife, Parveen. He also mentioned how he never took Parveen out for dates with her. In his words:
“I am a lousy lover off-screen. Believe me. I am not at all romantic. After I married Parveen, I have not given her expensive gifts nor have I taken her for candlelight dinners.”
Emraan has been predominantly known for being a serial kisser for his leading actresses on the silver screen. While many may think it would lead to an awkward moment amidst the real-life couple, it was the contrary. Emraan had once mentioned how his wife, Parveen, had made a rule for every kiss of Emraan on screen. Revealing how she used to sulk initially and later brought up a rule for him to purchase her a bag for every kiss, he mentioned:
“Always buy her bags, for every kiss, for every film. She has got a cupboard full of bags, there’s one cupboard dedicated to the bags.”
The lovely couple, Emraan and Parveen, got promoted as parents when they welcomed their son, Ayaan, on February 3, 2010. The couple enjoyed their new phase entirely and were overjoyed to celebrate every moment of their little one. However, there was a hard testing time in the life of the couple, when at the age of four years old, Ayaan was diagnosed with cancer. It was reported that malignant cells were found in his kidney. While it was a shock for the couple, they had to remain strong no matter what.
Soon enough, the doting parents took their son to the USA and gave him the best possible treatment. It was a very difficult phase for Emraan as he constantly switched between his work commitments and meeting his son at the hospital in Canada. Finally, after a few years of rigorous treatments, Ayaan was declared cancer-free, and the family rejoiced at this victory.
Fast forward to today, the trio is a happy family together, who stick beside each other through thick and thin. Though the couple is not quite active on social media and is seldom spotted in the media glare, nonetheless, they are celebrating their years of togetherness in complete bliss.
