Flying Beast, Gaurav Taneja is striving hard to make his startup a profitable business. He has launched a whey protein label and desi ghee brand made using the old Indian technique. For marketing and getting the investment, the famous YouTuber, along with his partner, went to Shark Tank India 4.
Gaurav Taneja, who has over nine million subscribers, talked about his appearance on the reality show, Shark Tank India. In his latest vlog, he talked about his experience on the show. He revealed that fans wondered and commented how he has a lot of money as he made Rs. one crore within an hour through his whey protein business.
Gaurav added that he earned one crore within an hour, but he has other business activities which require the money. So it doesn't go directly into his pocket. Gaurav added that he had no intention of going on the show, and his wife, Ritu Rathee, also agreed with him that there was a lot of risk. Not only this, Gaurav also admitted that he had locked horns with sharks, and had a nok-jhok moment.
In one of the promos of Shark Tank India 4 gave glimpses of several business enthusiasts sharing details about their businesses. In the promo, Gaurav Taneja also pitched his whey protein brand, and his partner revealed that they were able to make sales worth Rs. 1 crore in an hour. They revealed that they were able to generate the sale even though their website was password protected. It left the sharks highly impressed, Aman Gupta said:
"That is a dream for a lot of businesses."
In an earlier promo, Gaurav Taneja's appearance for Shark Tank India 4 left his fans and even the sharks in shock. The pilot-turned-Youtuber decided to establish his own whey protein brand, Beast Life. The sharks seemed to be impressed by the YouTuber and asked questions about his revenue and income from YouTube. Vineeta had a very valid question about why he needs investment from them when he earns crores from social media.

During a podcast, Gaurav Taneja was also asked about his salary as an influencer and a YouTuber. The YouTuber proudly stated that it was more than the CEO of Air Asia who had fired him wrongly. He was quoted as saying:
"Jis company ne fire kia tha na, Air Asia ne, uske CEO se jyada hi kamata hu."
