For the past six years, the Ambani family was hailed as Asia's richest clan. However, on November 24, 2021, everything changed after the businessman, Gautam Adani replaced Mukesh Ambani to become Asia's richest man. According to the latest reports, Gautam Adani's net worth has increased drastically since April 2020. And reports were rife that he might dethrone the Ambanis.
For the unversed, Gautam Adani is the founder and chairman of Adani Groups. Recently, one of the companies of the group, Adani Transmission Limited, had won three at Confederation of Indian Industries, which is the first-ever Operational Sustainability Conference-cum-Competition.

According to a report in Economic Times, the shares of Reliance Industries stayed under pressure and were quoted 1.07 per cent lower at Rs. 2,360.70. On the other hand, Adani Group's stocks were trading higher.
A couple of weeks ago, there were reports that Ambanis are moving out of India. A report in the Mid-Day had revealed that Ambani's experience of spending the lockdown in their Mumbai home had made them build a new abode for them. So, they have decided to make their London property, their new nest, which they had purchased at Rs 592 crore earlier this year.

However, the Reliance Group had denied all such speculations. In a media statement, Reliance had stated that Mukesh Ambani and his family are not planning to relocate to London or anywhere else in the world. The group also revealed that the property was purchased to enhance it into a premier sports and golf resort.
Well, the change of fortune was predicted to happen anytime soon!
