Indian businessman and philanthropist, Gautam Adani made an appearance on India TV's show, Aap Ki Adalat. During the interview, he revealed that he had given Rs. 60 crores to his wife, Priti Adani, as a donation for her trust. Not only this, Gautam Adani also gave on-point replies to some of the tough questions thrown at him by the host of the show, Rajat Sharma.
During the interview, Gautam Adani was asked if he only thinks about himself. The businessman clearly replied that he believed in charity for needy and poor people in society. He added that when his family asked him what he wanted as a gift on his 60th birthday, he expressed his desire to donate Rs 60,000 crores. After which he gave Rs. 60,000 crores to his wife, Priti Adani as a donation for her trust.
In the same interaction, Gautam Adani was asked about his competition with Mukesh Ambani. To this, Mr Adani shared that he has a lot of respect for Mukesh Ambani and he is a good friend of his. Gautam Adani also added that Mukesh Ambani has contributed to the growth of the country, and he admires him.
Gautam Adani's wife, Priti Adani is running Adani Foundation. Not many know that she is a qualified doctor with Bachelor's in Dental Surgery and has been an educationist. She believes in growth along with goodness. Adani Foundation was her brainchild, and she wanted Adani Group to help transform the lives of people across the nation.
The billionaire Gautam Adani and Priti Adani are blessed with a son, Karan Adani, who will be taking the reins from his father. Karan Adani is married to Paridhi Shroff Adani, who is a lawyer by profession. She is following her passion, keeping her in-law's billions of bucks aside. Paridhi Shroff Adani has followed in her father's footsteps and joined his company, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, which is India’s biggest law firm.
