Gautam Gambhir's remuneration as the Indian team's new coach is the same as Rahul Dravid's before retiring. The total amount is a staggering Rs. 12 crore per annum. However, Gautam Gambhir used to get more than double of it as a mentor for the IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders.
Gautam Gambhir took over the mentoring position of the KKR team in 2024, and in the same year, the squad won the league. His salary as the team's mentor was a whopping Rs. 25 crore. Making it 52 percent less than his current fee as the Indian team's coach.
