Television actress, Gazal Rai embraced motherhood with the arrival of her son on August 31, 2021. Her son was born on the occasion of Janmashtami 2021. The gorgeous actress calls him a mix of Lord Krishna and Lora Shiva. Recently, the doting mommy shared the first-ever picture of her son and announced his unique name to the world.
On September 22, 2021, Gazal had shared a super cute video of her son's tiny feet. Alongside it, Gazal had announced that they were blessed with a little boy. The actress had written, "We welcome the newest addition to our family, life and hearts. Today we mark 21 days into this beautiful world."

On October 26, 2021, Gazal took to her Instagram handle and posted the first clear picture of her son. Along with it, the actress introduced her son to the world and announced his unique name, 'KriShiv', which is a combination of Lord Krishna and Lord Shiva. Gazal wrote, "Our lil bundle of joy , our lil Baby boy. Introducing KriShiv Sodha." Check it out:
In an interview with ETimes, Gazal Rai had revealed that she and her husband, Krunal Sodha had welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on the night of Janmashtami, i.e., August 31, 2021. She had further added that she had fondly called her son 'Kanha', as her child was also born around 12–1 a.m. at midnight. Recalling the best day of their lives so far, Gazal had said:
"My baby was born on August 31. Just like little Kanhaji, my baby started working his way out at 12 a.m. (smiles). Given that my husband (Krunal Sodha) and I are so spiritual, the eventful day became even more special."
Gazal Rai had recalled the pain of labour and the happiness, which she had felt after the birth of her baby. The actress had shared:

"After my labour, I was dying to have a look at him and the very first feeling when I held him in my arms is hard to describe. It was such an overwhelming feeling seeing the little human that I had created inside me."
